This piece was a huge struggle for me to wrap my head around, because I'd had so much trouble with coloratura in the past. There were points during preparing it that I didn't think I would be able to get through the coloratura, but it ended up being one of the most fun performances I've ever sung. I am so grateful to my teacher and coach for helping me technically in this piece as well as encouraging me so much.
I can't wait to sing more coloratura soon!
