After seeing the Episode 9 Trailer, It's clear to me that her signature will most likely be a *Suppress* ability. This is evident from the disabled Sova scan and Jett knives we see at the end of the trailer (at 10:43).
She may compete with Kayo, similar to how they introduced Fade to compete with Sova in scanning utility.
I feel like those are there to kinda portray the "after battle" effect rather than to showcase that it's a suppress, since at that point in the trailer the spike had already exploded and can't be seen, plus there are no agents around

very good point but how about Jett how are you suppose to disable wind I think that's the after math of them trying to fight her off or they are just there I mean yes but sova stuff is electric one splash of water and its gone so sova and Jett don't have radianite correct me if I'm wrong but Ik sova doesn't but Jett? idk cuz she controls wind tho?
the sova scan isn't disabled, it's already done its job. jett's knives aren't her radiant abilities, it's her wind powers. pretty sure A26 is also radiant or something of the kind

The Clove voice line talking about agent 8’s locker mentions how it’s scratched out, the new agent has claws that could very well have done it.
I think it's possible that the 'you can't catch her' part refers to an ability that either stops players in their tracks or causes thorny vines to appear on the ground. These vines could deal damage while players walk through them (similar to a Gekko molly but only while moving) and also slow them down. OR it doesn't slow you and just causes damage if you walk through them but it also makes noise.
I can see her ultimate being a giant field of these thorns that force players inside to either fight while taking slow damage (bc they walk through it) and give up their position based on noise. OR stay where they are and defend their location so that they arent found out by moving around.

And I feel like she might have some broken ability of capturing weapons too, Because the gun was covered with vines? In battlecard something like that?

I like the idea of creating noises from the theory if she was an initiator but now we know that she is in fact a sentinel. Surprise surprise, we were focus too much on her thorns that we forgot her metal properties which is wall C

The plant themeing would be perfect for abilities that can watch a space without being some sort of electronic

The reason why I think she'll be a sentinel is because the thorns almost make me think she will slow down movement which prevents enemies to get onto sites etc. There's not many things about her design that scream initiator.
I have a feeling that the next agent will also be south Korean considering the large amount of kpop stuff in the battlepass

My first thoughts were that it would be a sentinel with a barbed wire type of ability
To me, the thing we only have one of is a 0 info initiator, Breach, so i imagine that would make sense to add another
They have since confirmed that it will be a sentinel
Imagine her ultimate is like "time's up" remove 10 seconds from the game timer (or spike exploding time yk) referring to the time aspect of the hourglasses and time's up card
I have a very confident feeling about this agent being an initiator for 2 main reasons:
1. How long ago Gekko was released and how we have had every other class filled after that
2. Recently, Riot seems to have been focusing on the duelist meta, trying to push people into playing other roles instead of only playing the two main duelists. I'm sure this new agent will be some kind of initiator duelist hybrid, possibly having a self heal like Clove, or maybe a movement ability that can be used for entry
Im calling it she will have some sorta ability which reduces the cooldown of the signature abilities of other agents sorta like Zilean from League of Legends

Those floor vines made me think about if one of new agent's ability could be similar to Breach's concussion skill but instead it traps everyone in that line radius, but this skill would approach to an enemy/enemies/clear corners in a way like a sea waves style and not like Breach concussion skill does at once and on the same frequency (if you get what I mean 😭)
my guess is that this agent is gonna have a ekko-like ability that can travel back in time and reset its hp and abilities

If you just look at what we have seen everything goes to metal thorn vines. For me that's an indicator that the chance the new agent is a sentinel is way higher than you assumed. You could create a vine wall or throw a vine ball that spikes an area so whoever walks on this gets slowed or even vulnerable. Now look at the Initiator side we have reveal and flash Initiator and I really doubt that they could fit metal vines into being flashes also I don't see any reveal potential for skills based on metal vines. But we will see I guess

I think her ultimate would kinda be like a fade ultimate, except it’s metal vines. I think anyone who hits the metal vines will be trapped like deadlocks grenade. Then, they will slowly do damage as they are trapped. The player who is trapped has to remove the vines to stop dealing damage. Or it can maybe stun them.

What if she is someone who can transform? we don't have it in Valorant yet, but now they sort of want to introduce it. Also that hand has a close resemblance to a claw like thing ( there is a same pokemon called Sizor, who has the same hands) so maybe that is like a ability? Plus she has vines and some teasers revealed she has walls like sage or something close to it.

Im guessing those vines represent a field that maybe stuns enemies. And if she is an inititiator , then she’ll be an alternative to breach. Like harbor is an alternative to viper, how clove is to brimstone, etc.

Anodization can just be for coating, it's possible the way the new agent assimilates plant liffe its to spread metal over it so they want to stop the spread.

It is, if you go into the range there's a secret room with brim phone and the new voicemail and email he received, you can go to valorant range lore to find the old ones too because they change every new patch (almost)
I hope it's sentinel and I see potenial for some traps or walls made out of those metalic veins, but lore-wise sentinel just doesn't have sense. She's too aggresive for sentinel, so it's for sure initiator. Also Riot hates sentinels, so making them smallest group with weakest agents isn't suprising.
