Treat the rust plsssss
When will episode 2 come
Love these videos
@@CHERRY-yz1it expect about 3 weeks. We have other videos we need to put out, namely a detailing video and Civic Part 3
I watch your channel specifically for road trip videos. They are some of the best videos on youtube, do you think there will be some rolling out this year??
Guys I already have one pinned comment, so just upvote this for me if you see it: for all my Filipino homies in the comments section, yes, Ronnie is Filipino. Also I looked at our analytics today, and the Philippines is our 4th largest viewership location. So cool!
Mabuhay! From the Philippines :)
Daming nangangarap na pinoy na magkaroon ng evo or kahit anong sports car
I always wondered if Ronnie is Filipino. This confirms it..More Power Ronnie!
Filipino food is bomb!
can you do a prius build?
"if the cars already completely disabled, why not throw more parts in" I can't tell you how much extra money I've spent using that logic. 😂 worth it though
haha same, but do you ever regret it...
I’ve spent 1,000 dollars on car parts, might as well spend 10,000. Love this logic bro, wins me over every time.
And not just because I am a car guy. It tends to happen with PC too xD. But yeah lots of money spent like this but hey what the hell never regret it so.
"While I was in there" the old saying that puts any bank account on suicide watch
@@gabewilson81 when you blow your engine...yeah...😂😂😂
If there’s one channel that deserves the sponsorship, its this one.
Appreciate the honesty

“Why not throw in a couple more parts while we are in there”. Story of my wrx going from a simple tune to 6 speed swap.
L G car guy mentality.
6 speed swap WRX is more expensive than just trading it in for an STi.
Marlowe Campos my 6 speed swap was 3,500$ and my wrx was 5,000$. Find me an 8,500$ STi in half decent condition literally anywhere. 04 STi’s with blown motors go for 8-10,000$ around here 🤦🏻♀️
liltuck737 deadass in portland for an 05 sti with 200k miles they want like 15 grand for it, fuck the subie tax
liltuck737 wow $5k for a wrx. That’s a steal.
8:02 is the type of shot most people watching take for granted. Creatively done, but not over the top. Fits with the story and adds production value. Cant wait for the rest of the series!
The whole video is beautiful. It made me fall in love with the way they tell their stories. Whoever works as their cinemetogropher/editer/director looks like they worked at national geographic or something.
DANG, tall Ben is yolked!!!
Hey guys everybody upvote this comment
I don't know why this series of the civic and evo makes me so happy. Keep it up lads :)
Ben: You'll find out at the end of the Civic and Evo's build series why we built it the way we did
Me: Reliability. Simple answer
I wish we were that intelligent
Probably Time Attack, Street Category.
Yeah this channel has legit builds
Not eBay junky haggard parts
what Yaroslav said, it's probably racing category rules.
How tf do you have only 600K subscribers? Insane. Your shooting style, edits, music, etc. You should literally be on the discovery channel at this point.
Fast Ben: pro driver, pro welding, pro truck driver. Tall Ben: handsome AF in that Speed Academy shirt! Who won? You decide!
Dude, you guys could literally film paint drying and make it awesome. Next level quality. Keep it up!
I saw the "new video" bit, and kinda expected the Civic.
Then it was the Evo.
Next thought: "Did the Civic fall off the trailer maybe?"
It EVOlved
The classic trap “it’s already all apart, we might as well put a few more parts in there” lmao 😂
Some may be underwhelmed by your power goals, but to me it’s a breath of fresh air. Getting a bit tired of the 1000hp standard, it’s nice to see something realistic and reliable.
I love this channel. Best car content on CZcams.
Makes me appreciate the Evo 9 so much more. I love the VII, it's my dream car. The IX is legit too.
My Evo has been sitting in my yard . This is like motivation for me toget it together.
Im not normally a car geek, I knew/know very little about cars, engines, or any of the inner workings of a car besides the basics.
But I fucking love these videos. They are so satisfying. It really makes me want to mod my Subaru Outback 2003. Especially since the Subi OB 03 doesnt commonly get modded, especially not heavily modded on the insides - I would love to see G&G do a Subaru Outback mod.
Ronnies shop is the best and he's one of the most honest and greatest guys out there he'll help you with anything you need
Watching this with my son on a Saturday Morning, Be safe out there everyone!
The "while i'm there" mentality strikes again!
I dont mind watching 7 ads to support the channel as long yall deliver this type of vids. 👌👌👌
I love this,my cousin had a spoon built ek with a spoon built b18c and his brother had a evo 9 mr with the best you can buy in 2009 competing on the the track soo this brings back memories
That boy rob is a mastery of mechanic, he deserved every penny & dollar you gave him
280 cams, titanium valves and springs, a Garrett 25-550 turbo (small but powerful)...
You'd hit 450hp with similar torque #'s easily on E85
I live vicariously through the MR. I miss my GSR 06 not MR, but just reminds me so much of what I let go. Best of luck with your upgrades, and frame fix. I'll be sure tuning in. No pun intended
Thank you MAPerformance for giving this channel some love!
So stoked for this build series! Mitsubishi owner myself!
No better Evo shop than RS Motors!!!!!
watching all these videos to hype me up. got an evo 9 sitting in my backyard under a car cover. I don't have time for it right now, but slowly i will gather parts for my baby :') Still paying it off too x)
Scope creep is such a double edged sword, but glad you got that the frame pulled straight
finally! a good shop on a channel in MINNESOTA!!!!!
The thing I love about this series is that it shows that you don’t have to do everything yourself. Sometimes it’s worth going to the experts are they know what’s best for your ride 👌I’ve been on the fence about having a machine shop build my mustang engine for me and after watching this I think I’ll take it there.
Oh lawdy I got a heart from Donut Media, Poe Boys AND Gears and Gasoline in one week?
So glad y’all are building the car for the track and not for some nonsense purpose of just having a high hp car.
It’s such a pleasure to get to see your EVO getting the best equipments. Hope to procure such lovely modifications for my EVO someday.! Your videos are an absolute treat to watch. Keep up the great work. Cheers.
My friend owned my subie before me and RS tuned it. Solid tuners! Still running strong.
The guys over at RS know their stuff.
The audio quality in this video is awesome!
The mentality of an Evo owner, take advantage of upgrades when possible. Solid parts, solid build, reminds me of my Evo build!
An STi swapped Forester, a K20 EK9 an EVO.. damn nice collection. Now you need an Integra Type R, an FD RX7 and an S2K 😀 oh and of course a Supra and a Skyline..
The dream JDM garage!
Evo is life. Excited for this build.
This is the type of car content I want on CZcams. You guys are truly in your own lane.
Man, I love this series with the Evo and Civic!
Since i played NFS:carbon the evo IX is my dream car, its nice to see you guys working on one
Really love they whatvyall end the videos over some nice music and a ending commentary. Nice job guys
God dang! That’s clean as heck! Ronnie is a good at what he does!
I've never clicked on a video so fast in my entire life
Welcome to MN :) I live 7 mins away from RS Motors. I wanna meet you guys!!!
Really love watching this video!!so cool!!Greetings from Greece! A country which loves EVOs!!
this is now my favorite youtube channel keep it up
I hope you guys are entering GridLife!
These Saturday morning episodes reminds me of my childhood Saturday morning cartoons. Always looking forward to these
This is so good mate! Love both of your series!
This channel is criminally under rated, so good
GG: while we’re at it, might as well go raid MAPs warehouse. It’s just across the river. (Grabs shopping cart)
Love these kinds of videos. Keep up the quality content lads!
That first part finished so quick :)
Ron is a great tuner. He just got done tuning my car two days ago.
Awesome determination on getting it done properly guys.
Simply love where this journey is heading. Can't wait for the next
Building my Evo 8, love your choices!
Use this moment to have your business pay for your upgrades. You need to say this is a PROMOTIONAL VIDEO!
You're production is just amazeballz..
The Evo build is looking just as a exciting as the Civic build. I'm very excited to watch both. Keep up the great work guys!
Love the way you showcase the build. If I ever get my dream Evo I know where to take it. Awesome first part of a great series to come!
looking foward to see your project car
Great project! Hope all works out well and you get the frame pulled. Coming from a previous IX MR owner I was surprised to see you didn’t change the up pipes, it helps a lot especially if you are doing a snail upgrade in the future. Back in the days I was running a FPRed turbo and it was significant difference from stock, way easier to play with than the euro v12 bi turbo that I have now...great vid subscribed
Far out your content is awesome. So well filmed and edited. Keen to follow the builds!
Props for going all in and getting that frame straightened.
Thanks for being transparent and honest; telling us how you afford to build your cars.
Get keen for lots more content bois, Ben's fallen for the "while we're in there" fallacy!
It's not a fallacy! It's completely logical! It makes perfect sense! Perfect sense!
My wallet disagrees when I use that line
He is definitely geeking out on Lana.. Hahaha.. Parts won't stop coming in for sure.
I digg the use of a high-flow cat.
Oh the anticipation is killing me! Can’t wait to see both of these builds finished 👍👍👍
This has to be the best content on CZcams right now
"We afford these parts by being poor the rest of the time" I feel like this is the life motto of most car guys, including myself.
Ok civic's turn more videos asap!!! Great job guys.
Plenty of Australian brands in this build - awesome!!
I live in Lakeville MN!!! You guys were so close to me!!!! Within 20 miles daaaaamn
I'm glad I love in California 365 day's of sun. Cruising in my 70' Firebird 🤘 💪. Love Evo's
Taking care of these details is always worth it! Maybe not financially but if you want art you got to go for it
'we afford all of these parts by being poor the rest of the time'...definitely made me feel better. Sincerely appreciate the kindness.
there is no time for covid-19 I building an EVO.
I really enjoy your work, and I respect you both, so apologies for the lecture that's about to happen. I have a bit of experience with wheel alignment - my restoration shop merged with a wheel alignment business a decade ago. We still take on work with old cars that have suspension damage from surrounding crash repair shops. Here's a simple guide. Even if you can adjust to compensate for a bent rail or crossmember, the car won't drive as well as everything being within spec. Just because the alignment sheet shows green, you're putting a band-aid over a problem. This is way too complicated for a YT post - but think in terms of radius and roll centres, and balance. This is especially true with track driven cars. A driver can drive around the problems, but any effort spent fighting a problem costs time. We use a Car-O-Liner set up, and it allows us to get within a very fine tolerance of factory. If the chassis isn't within spec, we keep going until it is, or we re-evaluate and put a plan together. Often, it's better to cut the subframe out, and weld in a factory fresh one, especially if some asshole hack has got it mostly right and overstretched etc. We had a car in the shop in 2015 that was an inch longer on one side measured between front and rear wheel centrelines - it had been repaired after a LF collision, and the car looked okay from alignment numbers, but it would pull left all the time and get a "wobble" sometimes. An inch is a big difference - and your damage looks near that bad. The chassis is the foundation, if that's not correct, then the car will never drive worth a damn. Good luck with the EVO - we have a lot of EVO's in NZ, and they're a fun car.
No skip ads all the way.
Wonderful work as usual guys! I love how extremely honest and transparent you are about everything!
"He's about to pull the motor... How is it going with your break rotor" Lmaaaaoooo
Yeeaaap this is pretty much how you have to plan on things going. "Going to be a quick little bunch of bolt ons" becomes... "so we're taking the entire car apart and putting it back together" REAL quick!
Great daily and track car upgrades.
one of the best automotive channels period
Mustang Dynos are notorious heart breakers
Evo 9 is my favourite car. Good job 👍
Exedy Hyper Series Twin Plate Clutch, with ACT Monoloc, the beesknees! AWD launch is offtap!
Must remember to test brake setup and tires and make sure they compensate after upping the power!
+ in the Evo's family. EVo 9 is the best .
Ben and ben your videos are so much fun to watch, please dont stop, love from canada
Really love it ......always veen a huge evo fan can wait to see the complete build its so nerve-wracking and emotional.
It’s lovely to see a contrast on how Tall Ben’s series edited compared to how short Ben’s series edited, specifically on the color correction. TB’s engine swap clips looks like their perform surgery in my opinion, SB’s cylinder head swapping scene of the K24 engine looked like they were playing with LEGO sets made for adults. I’m not saying ones worse or ones better, I’m just saying it’s nice to see how they’re different.
My dude Sheen tuning Evos, man has many talents
One of the best looking cars ever!
