Die fünfte Episode von Bijoux et musique, Christmas Special, spielt wiederum im Wohnhaus von Samuel Kopp (www.samuelkopp.com) und seinem Partner. In elf verschiedenen Spielfilmszenen werden Schmuck, Accessoirs und Kostüme von 1920 bis 1970 vorgeführt. Es beginnt mit einer Szene, die ganz Coco Chanel gewidmet ist und endet mit einer festlichen Weihnachtsszene. Unter den Designern, deren Werke gezeigt werden, sind Baretti, Carnegie, Chanel, Coppola e Toppo, Dior, Fratti, Goossens, Harmon, Haskell, Jean-Pierre, Joseff, Kuborn-Grothe, Luciana de Reutern, maison Gripoix, Napier, Rosenstein, Rousselet, Schiaparelli, Schlumberger, Schreiner, Spratling, Trifari, Vrba, YSL, u.v.a.
Wiederum führt der Hausherr mit Kommentar, Klavierspiel und Gesang durch den Film, und zeigt ein paar seiner Eigenkreationen. Neu erklingt auch eine Hausorgel in zwei Szenen.
The fifth episode of Bijoux et musique, Christmas Special, is again set in the home of Samuel Kopp (www.samuelkopp.com) and his partner. Jewellery, accessories and costumes from 1920 to 1970 are presented in eleven different film scenes. It begins with a scene entirely dedicated to Coco Chanel and ends with a festive Christmas scene. Among the designers whose works will be on display are Baretti, Carnegie, Chanel, Coppola e Toppo, Dior, Fratti, Goossens, Harmon, Haskell, Jean-Pierre, Joseff, Kuborn-Grothe, Luciana de Reutern, maison Gripoix, Napier, Rosenstein , Rousselet, Schiaparelli, Schlumberger, Schreiner, Spratling, Trifari, Vrba, YSL, and many more.
Again, the host leads through the film with commentary, piano playing and singing, and shows a few of his own creations. A house organ can also be heard in two scenes.
