@@vitalina8534 not to be all weird or gatekeepy or anything but I personally feel like destroy boys and this band sound a LOT different. Destroy boys is like 100% punk/dark punk to the max vrs this band has a much more shoegaze and almost indie sound and the way they play and sound, they are similar but definitely not the same
I'm a Metalhead who also listens to alot of rock and grunge, and I love this band. I'm really hoping they blow up because they deserve it. They're music is class

drummers insane 😩
Drummer actually needs a lot of practice.
He is too spastic, sounds like he is all over the place. He needs to get comfortable, let loose, and get a feel...so he can sound like a complete unit. He looks way too tight as he is playing, like If he isn't comfortable playing at all.
He has some chops though.

God damn one of my newer favorite bands. This whole album set is Great but then Look at daisy Pusher. Fucking epic in its own way. Great thing about this band is that it has its raw album that is The bees knees. Just like Interpol had turn on the bright lights and antics. But Then bands like Interpol end up Dying once they Lose their heart and original sound.
Julie so far has Been able to Keep their original Soul And Have a new unique sound That's completely different from the last ep or album. Looking forward to the next. I think that one will be the One that bands usually End up Selling out on. But I don't think Julie will. they love sonic youth way too much to do that

he's playing what looks like a Fender tweed deluxe. couldn't tell you what tubes/speaker combo he's got in there but I think it's safe to assume it's stock. Most of his sound is coming from his pedals though

This band is a ripoff of Broken Water lol
the song structure is totally different on most Julie songs, where Broken Water is a more straightforward shoegaze/grungegaze style, Julie has a much more disorganized song structure and a lot harder hitting guitars with lots of feedback
