I am in my late 50's and I agree that adults don't tell kids how tough it is to be an adult. I don't believe they are being deliberately neglectful. I believe they are trying to protect our childhood so we don't spend our childhood years dreading the coming adult years. 🤷♀

That's all we do. We had to walk up hill both ways in the snow. Back in my day..... kids don't listen. It's hard earned wisdom unfortunately
