The beauty about classic songs is that they are timeless.
Here on 18th, October, 2023 and this joint is still as fresh as yesterday.
    Timeless.

As a non Nigerian I will; like to say a BIG THANK YOU TO ALL AFRICAN ARTIST but especially NIGERIAN ARTIST , you dont have an idea how happy you guys have made us all africans happy in the past 10 yrs. Nowadays all african music is All i listen to . I dont even put on american fm radio anymore. I got all african music playing in my car 24/7. I have even introduce this to my non african friends. I am so proud to be african. I hold my head high in public as i listen to our songs. One does not need to understand the language to understand. Music is Universal.

+mariellaforty Oh gosh! Hush! I can compare whatever I want!! Furthermore, No one is taking away from the influence or talent of African artist. I used the analogy to compare levels of contribution to an overall project. Why do people like you have to always try and make a big deal out of something minimal. Do not over exaggerate.

Anastasia Beaverhausen I'm trying to pinpoint where you got all of that from his comment! 😐 I understand what you're saying, but that's not what his comment was about, I didn't see any self hate or feelings of superiority. Africa is a whole dang continent honey, with multiple tribes/ethic groups in each country, which I'm sure you're well aware of. There's nothing wrong with identifying where you're from, (I'm Haitian, as well) it's no different than having pride in your state/city here in the US. Those that act like they're better than another are certainly foolish, apart from those in the Motherland, a boat stop is the only difference amongst us. And those in the Motherland should never look down on us, we are the offspring of their mothers, father's, brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts, cousins, etc, that were stolen & sold off into slavery.

I'm reading these comments and I'm like ... wtf? only a true musician will appreciate the composition, production and the feel of this song. But then I can't blame typical African-music fan base, they are saturated with one general style of music with the same beat same feel same lyrics and a bunch of vocals fillers that don't make any sense. The industry needs more talented producers that can dare to be different and try to challenge the status quo in African music. Reason why "Ojuelegba" is a hit is because the music is different. we need more of this. Anyways, this is a groovy song and as a musician and arranger, i respect it's producer.

On the contrary, it's a nice, chilled out jam and Tiwa is beautiful as always. The song has a different vibe to it, probably why people don't appreciate it. We need to embrace new stuff, it doesn't always have to be about club bangers and big yansh Lol

SO PROUD TO ORIGINATE FROM THE SAME SOUL AS THESE 2 AMAZING ARTISTS. They made it through while not disowning their home languages. Rather, the world is adjusting to THEIR style. SO PROUD!!!

After a couple of times of listening to this song, you realise that its actually LIT!!! I felt the same way about her song; If I start to talk, now I can't stop playing it. We just have to give new releases a chanc and then they grow on you. Love you Tiwa!

Tiwa the symbol of pure African beauty, and combined to gather with her voice, it's simply a gift given by almighty in one out of a million females on this planet.

+chinedu nwankwor African women are polite and diplomatic in public, allow the public to critique this video in their own language, in return, it will only make it better for Tiwa producing team. Don't go wild is my suggestion to you.
