My dad drove for BRS from the age of 18 till he retired in early 70’s, this footage brings back a lot of memories for me, he worked out of the purfleet depot near tilbury in Essex for almost 40 years. I believe his fleet numbers were A1 or 1A. He knew where every lorry belonged to each depot just by their number
Brought back a lot of memories, the Seddon at 0:11 first heavy I drove full time, except mine didn't have the split screen, then the one at 4:14, another with a 220 Rolls with a rabbit hutch on the back, Sed Atk 400, Borderer, Crusader and many more. When trucks were wagons, and drivers were men.
Great look back to when I was just a kid! I remember a lot of those truck models and makes! Brilliant!~
Great to see all these old motors, driving was tough in those days.
Come on you lot how about some thumbs up ? This guy is spoiling us🎥🥇
