ever since I seen this I'm now trying to build a concrete bank in my back yard with a 6ft vert wall I made from a couch I ripped apart, a bunch of pavers bricks from the 80s I dug up, and an old shed all getting prepped and built strong.. thank you guys for the inspiration.. it is really fun so far and I want to have all my friends here and shred it when I finally concrete the path and widen it.. I have a longer rollin I built also and a pole jam I dug up and sleeved with a rail from my friends old mini ramp we had memories on that he gave to me. Rock on, Skate hard Live fast!

I'm getting over a blown disc in my lower back, reeeally trying hard not to preach about humping those parking blocks around solo. Take care of your backs, boys.

@@dugannash9109 Good work bro. I've had a pretty painful autoimmune condition my whole life, but the blown disc was a whole other galaxy of pain. Pretty sure I did it repeatedly lifting market gazebos in and out of the boot of my car

Check out zach dowdys channel. He’s got a bunch of content on making concrete diy spots, inspired me to do so actually.
Build up the other side too, put a flat bar on top like a couple feet high.

Always rad, but I'm not sure the RapidSet Cementall has the same adhesion properties as their Mortar Mix. Time will tell. Keep inspiring y'all!
you guys should come to the san Joaquin reservoir theres only one curb there and the spot is too crusty to skate anymore
Get a heavy duty plastic tarp. Put the cement on it and add water. Two guys grab two corners each and roll the tarp back and forth. Way easier to mix.
It is going to provide a lot of concrete and cement to building a skate curb with a great obstacles and setup rail equipment to get a clean landing testing trick with a new skate curb!

These videos are so rad!!!! What is the paint type stuff they put on the blocks to make them grind and slide so good?
I think they’re shellacking it but I might be wrong. I’ve seen other videos where they use a rub brick then shellac then wax and they’re always able to do infinity grinds then haha

@@WilliamC1978 that works great too, yellow/red curbs always seems to be the best ones and grind best. It’s definitely some sort of clear coat/sealer they’re using, I’ve seen rusto before but someone else mentioned behr?
