    I love this, it shows me that Mozart had some great ideas that could work for the Organ. I just wish he had written it when he was sober! ;)

    • @Chris-cs1eu
      @Chris-cs1eu Před 8 lety

      this piece I agree is good however I believe Bach's toccata and fugue in D minor is more iconic and generally more impressive as well as in my opinion more challenging

    • @robertgift
      @robertgift Před 8 lety +2

      Captainchaos 1 No. This is far more difficult. I still have not learned it.
      BWV 535 was first Bach organwork I learned in my teens. Then learned the Dorian T&F which I like far better.
      But many non organists like 535 better.

    • @Chris-cs1eu
      @Chris-cs1eu Před 7 lety +1

      the difficulty of a piece is all in the eye of the beholder to be honest I've seen far worse than this piece when it comes to difficulty however that is just my opinion and you are entitled to have your own of course.

    • @robertgift
      @robertgift Před 7 lety

      Captainchaos 1 Reger has many very difficult works. The Symphonic Fantasy and Fugue is probably the most difficult. (I gave up on it.) I am amazed that some organists learn very difficult Reger organworks which I find not worth the effort. One very long work has 3 brilliant fantastic variations in it. Were I to play it I would play only those variations. But its fugue is fantastic!

    Vás chytráci, co zde kritizujete varhanistu, který zperformoval tuto neskutečně (ale opravdu neskutečně) náročnou fugu, bych chtěl slyšet hrát tuto skladbu. Není to nic lehkého hrát jakoukoliv orchestrální skladbu upravenou pro jeden nástroj. Pán se s tím vypořádal celkem obstojně. Opravdu obdivuji jeho trilky hrané nohami na pedály. Super. Já sám bych to nezahrál. A náročnosti i odpovídá tempo. Je to o dost pomaleji a proto to nepůsobí tak celistvě. Jestli chcete ocenit hodiny úpěnlivého cvičení, tak si skladbu pusťte na rychlost 1,25. Pak teprve uslyšíte, že to co pan varhaník hraje má smysl. Nechápu, jak může někdo začít kritizovat a přitom ve většině případů by to sám nezahrál lépe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    *In the 18th Century throughout the German countries,* "Praeludium und Fuga C-moll" was a very common title for C-minor organ works from Pachelbel to Mozart, and K. 546 meets the qualifications. Different toccatae, fantasiae, &c. were used for the Praeludium; the Fuga is a standard counterpoint lesson.

  • @Pawel_Malecki
    @Pawel_Malecki Před 6 lety +13

    Mozart had to maintain a reputation of fresh and strictly Catholic composer to keep his audience. Keep this in mind while comparing Bach's and Mozart's counterpoint works, Mozart had to avoid Baroque solutions (e.g. trills are used in a completely different way in his works) because snobbish Viennese audience of the time would turn to different composers if he presented them an old-fashioned fugue like Bach's. Why do you think marvellous late Baroque composers like Hasse and Gassmann adopted Classical style in their late careers?
    Another thing is Mozart follows bel canto melodic style in vast majority of his works so don't expect sudden turns too often, that would not be bel canto.

      @@Einnor084 I apologize. I was trying to be funny. I think I understand what you were saying after reading it again. Humans and their politics can be very ridiculous and they regard something as irrelevant simply because it comes from a previous time.
      My reason for reacting quite passive aggressively may seem strange: I thought that you might be one who hates 'old-fashioned' music and was mad at Pawel Malecki for implying that newer-fashioned musicians can be pretentious too. I know it's strange, and probably definitely isn't true, but yeah. in any case tho bro, have a wonderful day or night wherever youre from.

    Hervorragend interpretiert, diese Stücke, ganz besonders die "Fingerbrecher"- Fuge!
    Allerdings "atmet" diese Orgel, obwohl schon 1989 erbaut und später überarbeitet, noch ganz den kalten, "neobarocken Orgelbewegungs"-Klang!
    Rasiermesserscharfe Spaltklänge statt Verschmelzung!
    Die Intonation: "Gib den Ohren Saures!"
    in Form völlig überspitzter Höhen bei den Mixturen! Schneidet einem förmlich die Ohren ab!
    Daß Schuke inzwischen auch anders kann, hört man beispielsweise an dem hervorragenden Ausnahme-Instrument des Doms zu Magdeburg aus dem Jahre 2008! Welch ein Kontrast!

    La prise de son souligne une certaine agressivité des mixtures, des anches. Le son est très clair, mais rude, claquant, pas enveloppant, encore un orgue faussement baroque ! (Voir le vrai baroque à Weingarten par ex).
