All this time I saw it in my suggestions and I slept because I believed they were bonuses from my DVD. I found it even BETTER than the main documentary ! A bliss this was done. Brad Pitt and Keanu Reeves are mentioned as Kickstarters btw.
I use to be Juseboogy from Massive Monkees and have gotten back into breaking and your and some others videos have really helped me learn better then ever have before. I never ever was taught and literally just went out a danced freestyle. These are helping me so much Especially being older I need to be accurate and balance. Thank you I will be giving you credit if I get famous.
i think its insane how amazing the styles where back then up to now. im amaze on the lettering ive never seen them yet their similar to some of what i thought i made up. its almost like a hive mind like a collective and we draw inspiration off what we see and we rework them but there all similar ? idk dude.
15:53 Quik is my spirit animal. Even when I was writing, I never understood the "beef" thing. Just get up. We were ALL going over something someone valued. Unless someone was blatantly dissing you, chalk it up to the game and get up more. I remember talking to a dude from a crew I won't mention, but he was telling me how he never went out bombing without a burner on him. Like, what!?!?! I mean, to his credit, he was bombing LA and the line between taggers and bangers was razor thin, but still. I'm an artist, not a gangsta 😂
Holy shit!! Does anyone see what I see at 38:10?! It's the famous BLADE whole car with the multi-coloured letters and the blue sky with the clouds in the background, from 'Subway Art' So they had footage of that legendary whole car running through the city, and DIDN'T include it in 'Style Wars'???!! Why not?!
What kind of cameras did they use to capture all the footage? Young kid here just enjoying the art work, lemme know. Been wanting to get my hands on one
I bet you all those people who had all these bad ass comments to say about the graffiti art, form, and culture are now kicking themselves in their ass in the grave
This is so amazing. It’s like a whole other documentary
you bomb tay?
You into graff bro??
What the fuck
To call this documentary a legend would not do it justice. It is the beginning of a revolution and the birth of a culture, almost a religion.
Damn the outtakes were like a part 2. So dope.
"There's too many outlaws and not enough artists"
Who said this? Incredible and timeless on so many levels.
Lady Pink is amazing and beautiful

Kase2 was a toy. Bro wasn't stomping nobody out with his 1 arm.
Too many credible writers from back then say otherwise
