Delta Reversals are one of my favorite order flow reversal signals. The problem is they don't appear very often. However, when they do appear the reversals are quite strong.
A delta reversal is when the delta in a bar changes from extreme aggressive buying to extreme aggressive selling or vice versa. But with any reversal signal to trade, you need a move to reverse. You don't want to take them in the middle of a range.
Trading order flow can be very lucrative when you know what to look for in the order flow. Rrder flow analysis is a powerful tool that can provide traders with valuable insights into market dynamics. By understanding the size, speed, and sentiment of the order flow, traders can make more informed trading decisions and potentially increase their profits. However, it is important to note that order flow analysis should not be used in isolation but should be complemented with other technical and fundamental analysis tools to form a comprehensive trading strategy.

I’ve seen scenarios on your chart where there was a swing high with huge positive delta candle followed by a negative delta candle and price reversed, it wasn’t part of your set up so you didn’t take it. I would take those trades because I will study the highest volume bar at the swing high and you would see it was aggressive buying at the high, this would mean iceberg orders where absorbing the aggressive buying. Sell absorption at recent swing low and buy absorption at the recent swing highs are the easiest way to catch a reversal, works for me on Gold countless times.
Thx for this DR video Mike! Delta reversal candles can be sort of engulfing (in cumulative Delta) as well, if you compare the cumulative delta candle to the previous one. The engulfing delta reversal candle is a very strong signal, especially when the market comes to a previous location. I would like you to make a video on the engulfing value area, maybe as well the inside value area in relation to inside/ outside and engulfing candles, maybe even in correlation to the engulfing candles of cumulative delta. That would a very interesting subject. Thx in advance..

Did you already work on orderflow chart configured with up-down tick calculation mode ? I don't know if it is available on Ninjatrader or if it is differently named.
It changes orders bid & ask repartitions but we get more information on the price movement and if passive orders have the lead on agressives.
What exactly is prominent POC and how is it calculated? What's the strategy to use it?

Hi Mike, thank you for the content. A newbie question, if someone could help: how the min and max delta are calculated? I was trying to make the difference from buyer and seller trades, in the diagonal and horizontally, but did not match with the values showed in the bottom table. There is another rule for them? The delta I am calculation right. :)
@@birdseyes6691You still won't be able to calculate those from a completed candle. You would be some kind of market replay.
Those figures cannot be calculated from a complete candle. They are the max and min experienced while the candle was forming.
