Like actors in a loveteam, each has to spread his/her wings and be able to fly where the wind will take him/her which he/she couldn't possibly do when always with the team or partner. Because let's face it, each one has a unique talent and God, our Maker, has different plans for each person. We, therefore, shouldn't put them in a box and limit them from reaching their full potential because that would be selfish of us.
