Bro a7sii is good for a7iii in vidography...i want faimy photography and buy used camera a7sii 900 usa dollor im exclient condtion... i want lowlight camera in extremy lowlight in excilent image quailty .... please sugest me a7sii or a7iii which camera for best me...
That's odd, i thought A7sII would be better than A7III... but it seems it isn't ? ;/ Do YOu have all of there cameras? Have You found best color matching profiles between A7s II and A7S III already? I have these 2 cameras, last saturday i set them both for wedding on cine4 and s-gamut3 cine profile, but they are so different in colors... I've found already that i had to lower wb in a7sIII for about 1000-1500K to match it with white balance from a7sII. Mk. 3 seems a lot of warmer.. What's Yout thoughts? Maybe You found any sweet spot in colors between them?
@@GreenBoxMedia F4 makes sense for a greater DOF...I would not use anything lower than that in a full frame sensor anyways...maybe f2.8 in some instances.
No that's just because the focus was not perfectly pulled. Interestingly enough it was a manual lens and I just changed bodies and the focus seams not to be exactly the same on all bodies. The video is meant only for noise comparison
WHY do you massively overexpose the extreme high ISO shot? 🤦 So many do that. Also, why use 1/100 shutter? Regardless of frame rate and especially in low light, 50 or 60 is always most natural. 50 or 60 fps is 360deg shutter with no strobe effect then
No not the sensitivity. The A7SII is extremely sensitive as well. However the noise level on the M3 is much lower and more acceptable in higher iso settings as the M2. If pushed to the max ISO both cams can see in the dark.
@@GreenBoxMedia actually thats what I meant for "sensitivity"...lets say for example that the A7S iii at ISO 6400 has the SAME noise levels than the A7S ii at ISO 3200?
@@cesarrubio3100 I might be able to squeeze another video in the 500 videos already scheduled for this month but I can't promise anything. So much queue up currently.
@whole27 If you are looking for video, I would go for the A7C. It has substantially better autofocusing for video and better color science. Those two things among other improvements, for me, makes it better than the A7iii.
@whole27 No. It has the exact same sensor as the A7iii. A78C is $200 cheaper and has a host of other video improvements including gyro sensor data which is amazing for post production stabilization which A7iii does not have. It also has a filp out screen etc. It does suffer from a smaller viewfinder and two less custom buttons and one less front dial. But overall, no question that for video, that many would take A7C. one more advantage - A7C has eye focus during video while the A7iii does not.
0:26 that smart car turned into an SUV.
you can get a nostalgic feeling in A7sii !!!!!!!!!!
thanks for this

Nice comparison, however is it fare to compare clips at diff FPS & recording format?
Since we are looking at low light performance of the “best setting” for each camera I would argue it is.
thanks for the video good one
You're welcome

I haven't found any sweet spots yet. But the white balance is something I noticed too.
@@GreenBoxMedia Damn, thats not good info, it looks like noone tried to match them yet :/
Why you used 1/100th shutter speed instead of 1/50th? (double the sensitivity).
To not showcase the best case scenario. I also used F4.0 instead of F1.5.
@@GreenBoxMedia F4 makes sense for a greater DOF...I would not use anything lower than that in a full frame sensor anyways...maybe f2.8 in some instances.
Well it depends on the usecase. I can see where you're coming from but there definitely are instance where I used T1.5 before.
Is the a7siii a stop brighter than the a7sii at matching ISOs?
The Mk3 is (all settings matching) significantly brighter than the Mk2 - However in the Video Mk2 is at 25 fps and Mk3 at 50 (max settings)
@@GreenBoxMedia Yeah I noticed the change in shutter speed and was confused hahah, it's interesting that it's brighter, thanks!
Thanks Bro !
No worries 👍
Expensive new toy! :D
Kinda.
I feel like sometimes the a7sii and siii (when not zoomed) were a bit more detailed the darker it was then a7iii
Am I seeing things or is the a7III MUCH sharper than the a7sIII?

Impressive
I was most surprised how well the A7 iii held up to the A7s iii
GreenBox for a "starter“ mirrorless camera is the A7iii really great

Ok does anyone else think the a7iii and a7siii are pretty darn close???
They are but noise levels are noticably much higher on them.
I thing Iso named incorrect and perormance is near the same
Keep in mind that all cameras run in their "best" settings which for the A7s iii means it runs in 50p while the others run in 25p
@@GreenBoxMedia but comparing ISO 5000 with iso 20000 is nonsense
25 and 50 FPS? Isn't that going to cause a bunch of problems in most video editing software which operate at 30 and 60 FPS?
No, most modern editing software can handle this without any issues
Would you rate the A7S iii as double the sensitivity of the A7S ii?...

Wow the a7siii just looks sooo much cleaner
But i'm shocked how good the A7 iii was looking.
@@GreenBoxMedia I too am wondering about the A7iii and how good it looks in comparison. I expected a lot of difference. Am I missing something?
@@2musiclover534 the A7 iii is more grainy (welcome youtube compression). But honestly not too shabby.
