great carving Kari, what was the brand of the wood carving tolls you showed, if you don't mind sharing!?
Thanks Suzie, the lino tools were Abig (wooden handle) and Essdee (red handle) and the larger wood carving set was a Yoshiharu set from Japan, but any Japanese wood carving set is similar and easier to find these days, I got mine 20 years ago. I hope this helps!
Reminds me of doing potato stamping a thousand years ago at junior school!! Yours is obviously far more detailed and professional!!!

Oh, clay goddesses sound lovely, Margaret! I have made many using Fimo clay in the past, but yes, rubber ones are easier on the hands, although too much carving can also aggravate arthritis, so don't overdo it! 🥰

Hi Miss Mabel 🩷 I totally understand being nervous about having surgery done. We just had our puppy spayed and she did really good for the surgery but keeping her subdued so she could heal was a real challenge. I’m surprised we all survived it. lol 😂

I'd love to do different hearts and stars patterns, as they seem to be so useful. I could have used hearts for the little heart pamphlet I just posted on IG!!!!!❤

Interesting! i am terrified of the sharp tools and will stick to the stamps made of children's foam sheets or of Styrofoam trays. but still, interesting to watch and learn (cleaning the noise around the stamp, for example). stamps are so fun!
Yeah, those tools are quite sharp, I have accidentally stabbed myself a couple of times and it hurts! 💗💗

I love doing a bit of carving, I have the red handle and the wooden handle sets. I don't do much now because of my hands 😔💗 love your genko leaf came out fab 💞😊😊
