SORRY for the ~200 people who saw this video come out yesterday with no audio, there were some mix ups with OBS recording settings that I didn’t realise had carried over. All fixed now… hopefully :)
glad that you had the audio still, loving the content on here and your main
They were a lucky 200 people imaging seeing jack when your not supposed to it’s a dream
@@liquidmoo619yeah I saw the video he made a 42 minute video and his mic was muted 😂
crazy how if you didn't say this nobody would've noticed but youre an honest man
It makes for good content! Thanks so much for uploading!
Getting this level of analysis from a current top level pro for FREE is ridiculous, keep these coming! :)
I know right! Jack is the best ^^
@@KnetterkoekjeYo wsppp bro, 😂😂
@@Knetterkoekje hey streamer meneer
@@bolsterwow hello friend! how is your weekend :)?
that's what I'm saying
Jack: I have this cool new pen
(Halfway through the video)
Jack: I just realized I haven’t been using my pen
(Continues not using the pen)
Crazy how 1 game analysis from a high GC/SSL player can take 40 minutes. This game is so far from it's skill ceiling, so many tiny things that can be improved upon all the time.
Yeah there is just too much to talk about when it comes to Rocket League. On the surface it looks like a rather simple game but its so so complex ^^
Thanks for the replay analysis Jack, appreciate it a lot. I will be learning from your comments and recommendations to hopefully reaching my goal of getting higher in the SSL rank.
Ur so cracked one day ill be good enough to be in ur lobbies
go win team!
“Alexa, unmute Jack’s voice”
Trusting tm8s is definitely a hard thing to do for most players and when I started trusting my tm8s more it definitely helped me realize what you said about tm8s not being as bad as we think.
@@MiniisBot did u mean to comment here?
Cutting rotation sometimes can be really important.
@@Angremaan lmao no😂
i like turtles
9:30 I am almost positive he meant to catch it and just mistimed it, I do the same thing sometimes and recognized that lol
HE FIXED IT
12:30 - I think people sorta forget that their teammates are as skilled as they are. If you see your teammate in a position that you think *you* could make a save from, assume that they can too, because they're the same rank as you for a reason. Conversely, don't expect your teammates to be better than you. Don't expect them to bail you out when you screw up badly. If you pop the ball up in the air in front of your own goal, don't get pissed at your teammate for failing to make an extremely difficult save.
nah fam my tm aint as skilled as me at all bro ngl.......................................... at its lik esigh sometimes bro tms do some stupid sh like missing wide open saves thats why my trust instantly leaves that might be toxic but its not my fault. also when your solo queing if you r tm makes a mistake they instantly give up and vise versa. i own goaled totally my fault then i instantly got a goal right back but i think its a mentality thing with the way this game is.
@@JokerARTIST99 I concur. It's a mentality thing indeed, both with teammates who just quit at the slightest sight of a challenege in match-up and how we react to their mishaps. Teammastes will absolutely miss open-nets, but this is a commonly shared thing with everyone. I hesitate to call it a problem, in some cases it is, in others it is not and is instead just the game at that rank. In 2s, the game isn't as reliant on teammates as in 3s. Typically, a loss in 2s is shared between both teammates. Adapt, adapt, adapt. Without it, you're just going through the motion of a match without actually playing. Adapt to both their strengths and their weaknesses. You can do this without taking acountability for their mistakes. You can learn and adapt, without taking credit for your teammate missing the 6th open net for the game or the free save of the ball rolling into your net that they absolutely miss.
3's is slightly different, with more players on the field theirs slightly more complex dynamics at play for a given sequence. Though, it still applies.
This is genuinely so good to be getting from a pro. Covering all skill levels, common situations and still the same level of analysis no matter what-all for free. So much better than other ‘coaches’ who charge way too much **cough** spookluke **cough**
Loving the series jack, thank you again. The start of the video was great as you made a preface that anyone can learn from what youre sharing. Youre so goated. Looking forward to more !! Thank you man.
i feel like if appjack uses the mod which allows the player to enter replays, the error fixes he proposes will be 100X more clearer to me (gc1)
mate, i've heard about that mod. happen to know the name?
@@fritzpipedorowalter I'll look for it and tell u
@@thekingkerellos if it isn't too much of a hustle... appreciate it
That sounds really good, would love to have this too to assist my coaching sessions :-)
@@fritzpipedorowalter its called jump in replays, I sent the link like 3 times and I think it ain't allowed on yt.
Would love to continue seeing more analysis vids. Every other rocket league video is just a pro doing gameplay. Seeing videos about things you could fix in champ to hit gc and diamond to champ would be huge. I guess like the biggest glaring mistakes that people in those ranks make.
12:11 absolutely, and one of the most satisfying things about ranking up is the better teammates that actually hit you for passes, follow up on your 50s etc
Thank you for this video this helps a ton! Such valuable information!
Yeah true, Ur also here? lmao😂
@@ApparentlyAhmad oh hello there! o/
These analyses are so much more helpful than others I've seen on YT 🎉
Learning a lot with all your videos, both main channel and this one too. 2 weeks ago I was struggling to get out of gold 3 and now I’m almost diamond (just by pure game sense, not mechanics). Keep it up!
Love the videos, super helpful and fun, could you maybe suggest specific exercises to improve on your points? also would you consider 1v1 analysis too?
absolutely love these breakdowns. im only low diamond but there are concepts that i understood wrongly especially on defense and challenges.
Missed these videos, so dope you’re doing em again
i love this video. i am gc1 currently and although some of the things you said might sound extremely obvious most players in this game do not go by any of these rules. and i believe i can improve on boosting towards where i know the play is going instead of waiting and putting myself in a weird position. One simple thing you said as well is not flipping into the ball while challenging off the ceiling. its so instinctual but it's so much smarter to get a soft touch like you said in this video. and the point about the momentum and challenging the ball is an amazing point. My favorite part about the video though is when you mentioned how there is always something you can do better, its not only your tm8 all the time. good work and im going to be on that grind for gc2. very reachable as a 1500 player currently.
Great video I learnt a lot from it especially the shadowing part (double jump) andtrust tm8 move in direction of the play / block the dribble. It makes sense
love these videos jack, keep up the good work lad
I've missed this content. Thanks Jack! ❤
This is the best rocket league content out there good job jack
Love this content bro, I’m c3 and watching this video showed me some thing that I do poorly in my own gameplay. Good luck this split you legend!
The content is so valuable. Thank you
wow amazing content, keep it up pls. Can you do a C2-C3 Replay analysis?
This is the best content available for rocket league players, will be sending to all of my friends
Really love the deep analysis on challenging
I'm so happy that you addressed the rank and teammate trust comment, I was in the replies giving a take similar to what you said and was really unsure if I was just making shit up
these vids are great thanks jack
Good video! Keep them coming!
Great stuff, I’d like to see a breakdown of a pro replay
Thank you so much Jack!!
from all the other pro analysis channels this is the only replay anyalysis I watched all the way through
Great video g
thank you jack continue your videos please you are helping me a lot becoming gc one day. From farnce bisous
this channel is incredible, thank you jack
I saw something that said hold powerslide or reverse on resets... is this legit?
Rly appreciate these videos Jack ❤ they help a lot and I actually notice the difference when I get in games
Hey Jack, was looking for thumbs grips and remembered you mentioned you used them. Any recommendations?
keep this up bro
This shit is pure gold. Thanks brother.
On the topic of trust I believe it was virge who said "assume your tm8s will do and can do the same things as you". Obviously it wont always be true but it will lead to a better decision most of the time
Im not sure how it works exactly, but it would be cool if you could use that mod that allows you to hop in to replays and actually show would you would do differently, at least with like pathing and such
😂 so we got the c1 and the gc3-ssl.
So next is the middle in gc1 right? Right?
Honestly i still dont know how to properly work on these mechs. Like not even flip reseting but keeping the ball close would be very cool to have like a few tips for. I know u are supposed to do the freeplay drilk but im not sure if baning the ball around and then followijg without abplan is helping.
Anyways thank you for these helped me remember some things like the playing wide thing or recognizing when scoring is not possible and then playing the ball to open space or bei g at a play either super quick when we see it or not going there at alland rather going where its going to be next.
Id like to have one of these two but even if i subscribe im just console so i dont know if u also do youtube cideos ad repys or just replay files
Pretty sure there’s a bakkes mod plug in where you can go in a replay and play for yourself(in a certain way) pretty good for replay analysis and explains what u mean
Abolutley love the replay review, id like to see you use the pen more. Find it easier to understand if pathing, rotatoin or positoning is drawn out
Hopefully there is a review coming soon for 1500 on how to get better & push to be the level of this guy
Stop apologizing man. We want your in depth analysis. This is what the people come for! The video could be an hour long and we'd still eat it up!
great video, how can i send one of mine in? and is it possible if its from console?
Hey Jack! How does one get you to react to replays? is it a twitch sub thing? Great video btw, very helpful. Even for a Diamond like me
Tier 3 twitch subs can send replays and if he gets the chance, he'd react to them. (This is what he said in previous episodes)
@@pryo6382 Its now changed to ANY twitch sub can submit, although he won't have time to review all of them so it's for a CHANCE at him reviewing it :)
The problem with trusting your teammate in my rank (c2) is that at least at the beginning of the match you have absolutely no idea what he is capable of. Some mates are in the rank because of game sense and struggle mechanically if they are awkward. Then there are the braindead "freestylers" who do double flip reset into musty double tap with 27 boost but leave the net open for big boost.
Oh and theres me, the boosted plat
Hi Jack! Thanks a lot for the videos, they're really helpful! I'm interested in having some replay of mine analysed, I'm D1 so don't expect very high level gameplay lol. How would I go about that, if possible?
I think if you subscribe to his twitch you get a chance for him to review your replay, not guaranteed to review your replay though
Lower rank people saying "ooohh make a video about us too"
Well..up until champ all you need is basic mechanics. Mid recoveries, good shooting on target, not overcommiting/double commiting and stuff like that.
Once your mechanics are to the limit lets say you are gc2-high gc3 or even low ssl. Thats where decision making will get you to the top(of course higher you go your mechanics need to kinda match your decision making)
You cant have champ mechanics in gc2 or plat mechanics in diamond 3 lets say. And you cant be freestyler doing triple reset but dont know how game works.
But after lets say grand champ you slowly need to understand and learn the game more and more as well as improving your mechanics overtime to keep up the speed and efficiency.
Hey Jack!! If possible can u review a high champ player from Middle east region. The games feel super aggressive , you know how the pros from ME region play as well. Its basically like that in normal lobbies. It would help alot!!
Guardiola type of analysis
I know it’s less popular, but I’d love to see some 3s!
So how would one get their replay looked at?
"Higher level players tend to be more critical of themselves" - Me a diamond player who's very critical of myself 🤔
how do you make decision faster?
Does this mean you're posting on this channel every 3 days? Let's gooooo! You're the goat Jack ♥
I am similar in rank and recognize the lobby and some of the mechanics people pull off is insane. .. off the back wall to musty to flip reset etc... I can't do any of that... so not sure how important it actually is
As far as I see it, it's not a MUST learn, but being able to do higher level mechanics definitely gives you more options of outplaying your opponent, thus giving yourself more scoring opportunities, but the most important part is knowing WHEN to do them, Zen is a big example of that
Very true, I just can't do that stuff it takes too much skill to do consistently in game for me to be able to outplay anyone.
this is what I'm looking for. As a 30 year old sometimes it just feels like getting beyond GC1/2 is just a matter of reflexes
AppJack you Goat you!!!
32:03 Honest truth )
How can I get you to look at my replay? I’m champ 3 trying to get to gc. Let me know 😀
Plat slander will never not be funny to me😂
He’s playing scared, but what do i know
As a hardstuck gold borderline plat player there were tips that i took away from this, and this is miles higher than my rank
It’s a wierd rank to be stuck in. I’m here too man.. and I watch pros too lol. But I play maybe once a week sometimes
Yeah, i went from gold to almost diamond back to gold again
Im like, whattttt
@ApparentlyJackAnalysis hey i was just wondering what happened to the replay analysis you did for me? You posted it on YT a couple years ago and DMd me on Discordt as part of the GCR Season 2. Just kinda sad it's gone since i technically paid for that.
I see you're still posting 👀
Me watching this after I just opened the game for first time in a month last night lol
Great video jackie poo
13:37 the guy takes boost and he still gets 100? How did it spawn did it spawn so fast
It's just a visual bug, the blue player didn't actually grab the boost (as you can see the circle next to his name is empty), so the boost was still there for the POV player to grab, the replay system is just weird sometimes
Simple as that.
nice
Jack I’m diamond 2 do you think I am able learn from this vid or is there a point watching?
If you saw the first minute he starts by saying it’s helpful to all ranks
watch the champ 1 video he did a few days ago. Much more relevant to your rank
my 1s rank is higher than my 3s rank sooo
Appjack- your teammates are better than you think.
Me in gc lobbies- 3 games in a row only losing by 1 goal with over 3 minutes left and teammates insta leave.
Also me- are you sure about that?
Love you jack you got next major
his speed flip feels like hes still focus'd on the mechanic itself and not totally in muscle memory. maybe a little sooner on the initial start so he can land faster and make those fine adjustments in tandem with what his opponents positioning is. you should basically always have atleast a semi-decent read on kickoff. and no matter how good the opp is, if you're hyper-vigilant on kickoff you'll be okay.
with this kickoff, if you get the timings down even if they delay you can instantly react on your first landing to counter.
Thank god, I was so disappointed when I seen this video had no sound
My bad, rookie mistake on my part haha
Hey man great content! Sth to improve: i think you stay too much at some positions and it's cause you are little repetitive. İt's a video so they can watch it again if necessary, make sure you are clear and go on after you point out the thing you want. Ultimately, videos will be shorter and more pleasant/less boring
Really bad take it’s necessary to go in depth especially at this level because the little things matter the most
how is he 1700 im 1400 and i make better decisions than him and a good example is at 9 40 all u have to do is be patient right there
(He pushed up too far)
Bro sjh's level is minimum 1900
DO A REPLAY ANALYSIS OF DIAMOND OR PLAT THAT'S WHERE MOST PLAYERS WHO WATCH YOUR VIDEO WOULD BE AT
