This song reminds me a lot of the movie Total Recall (1990) with Arnold Schwarzenegger. It's also because this sound was big in Mexico at the time and Mexico City was where most of the movie was filmed.
Witch italo disco was one of the Pure 80s disco sounds that and hi-nrg witch it was made in England and the USA and Canada and italo disco was made by Italian producers and sung by Italian singers but a lot of italo disco songs are sung in English usually you would think they would be in Italian but no this song falls under the space dance or synthdance music genre witch it was a sub genre of italo disco and with space dance or synth dance music is mainly instrumental lol u think disco died in the late 70s but true disco lasted in tell the late 80s house music is wat took over disco music lol
It's not as much sounding all the same as him recycling himself more than chris-chan. This track is reused as Brainstorm and the entirity of this riff is taken from _Keep on Driving_ by Robert Bravo, he used the the riff from _Mama Radio_ in Night out in Tomorrowland, which he in turn samples when making _Mind Machine_ under KOTO's guise. That one Humanoid invasion/Power run bit also keeps appearing in every Laserdance track he composes, which is how you know he had nothing to do with the entirity of Technological Mind and made Erik work for once. Van der Kuy may be a good composer and writer, as well as a person having left a big impact on the italo, rave and gabber house music, but he is a hack job as well.
Wel, it's Van der Kuy saying it, who, when tasked to take over KOTO, reread the "Don't be afraid" lines of Jabdah for a remake of the track (aka the Chinese Remix), so it sounds the exact same. It's just Michiel saying "Don't be afraid" in two cases and you can tell it's him
Brings me back good memories... thanks for the post.

cut to eight years later, Force of Order by Michiel and Erik, not some nobody who got the name assigned by ZYX.

All of Michiel van der kuy's tracks sound the same. Never the less,he remains good.

Sexy fuckin' tune. Thanks for posting.
That voice saying something about "dont be afraid" was also used on Koto's Jabdah right?
