We're finding ourselves playing against ToD on Last Refuge, and the least we can say is that rats are doing pretty well on this map ;)

also tod literally rages at HAPPY the same way. the happy who is among the top 3 of the world, and by far the best in europe.nothing he says has even the slightest merit anymore.
BTW most people would argue grubby using shockwave instead of warstomp is already throwing a huge bone towards tod. ofc you would never hear tod admit that he jsut lsot to a guy who forgot his shaman upgrades and played the worse skill on one of his heroes.

I watched the two streams simultaneously. I missed the saltmine at the end, so I asked both chats about what ToD wrote Grubby (with a neutral attitude, I wasn't hostile at all), and I was banned for 10 minutes on ToD's stream. :D ToD won the next game, and it says a lot, that Grubby commented it with a simple "gg", while ToD screamed "GET THE F*CK OFF MY GAME!"

I haven't played this game in over 15 years/I was never really good at it. But watching you play this, the entire time I could appreciate the insane APM micro/macro, and could genuinely feel the frustration accumulating in your opponent LMFAO "rat" scurrying everywhere around the map fkn hilarious. No better satisfaction at the end of the game than opponent rage. Well played man

Theres a lot of built in anger in tod because tod was so close in being as successful as grubby yet he never managed. And you know how it is in most sports, the #1 is way more successful then everyone else. For example in chess, only the champions are probably millionaires from revenue. I can understand his anger but tod also has a dbag personality too which may have contributed to his low popularity

Anders Bjarnhage that’s not entirely true, if you focus on every game the have , grubby always goes for micro plays and trying to kill unit in fights while tod always goes for the noob hero focus without caring about anything example. Watch the first fight in this match and you will notice grubby trying to micro his win in it like every other pro play meanwhile tod just goes for the hero focus like everytime. So basically the only way to win against a player like that is go in kill a couple of units and tp out before he insta kills your heroes

heh, i met them both at wcg in cologne. i was a 16yo kid and asked Tod for autograph, he literally laughed in my face for not having anything to write with. grubby on the other hand was super cool, took a photo even though he was late for some after party

That situation reminds me of one chapter in history of our sad country. When cossack uprising happened in 1648, polish commanders send few, i'll call them "taskforces", to contain it. One of those was consisted almost only of registered cossacks (this is - cossacks on service of the Commonwealth). Easily to predict, they betrayed and switched sides. Though in that specific game it hadn't that much impact on overall situation as in said rebellion.
