As a practicing Derm 10 years out, I find these videos reinforcing my clinical skills. In residency there is just too much to learn in 3 years. Now that I’ve seen a decade of clinic, it is so much easier to visualize these findings.
Thanks a ton sir, for all your videos. They are indeed a great boon for all budding pathologists , not only for exam preparation, even otherwise. Really feel lucky to have got the privilege to learn from an experienced teacher like you 💐
Great job , one of the most informative video that I have seen in youtube. It is packed with tips , personal experiences. I have clapped with the guys at the end. Such a generous effort, putting such an A class material for free to all Derm lover is highly appreciated. Thanks to all the students as well for typing all that manuscript.
Thank you for this. 4 hours plus...must be one of the longest lectures in youtube. I learned so much. This is gold. Thank you so much for this. I am very grateful for all your videos!
I watch this every year before my exams and now coming back again 1 day before my very last (hopefully) dermpath exam. Thank you super much and the PDF file is insanely good! I promote your channel to all my juniors lol
Thank you! Glad it helps. Good luck!!! Also let you juniors know that a complete organized library of all my videos, digital slides, pics, & sample pathology reports is available here: kikoxp.com/posts/5084 (dermpath) & kikoxp.com/posts/5083 (bone/soft tissue sarcoma pathology).
Thank you so much Dr Gardner and Dr Singh, every single pathologist I come across is just so generous with their time and their teaching. We dermatology registrars really appreciate all your efforts!
HUGE thanks to Dr. Diane Brackett for taking screenshots to recreate the text slides with corresponding pic of each entity. Download here: PDF (70 MB) bit.ly/2V4tsIJ or PPT (550 MB) bit.ly/3eoJHYz.
You got this, Edita! 😎 EVERY derm resident I’ve ever trained was paralyzed with fear of failing the Boards. But EVERY derm resident I’ve ever trained has PASSED the Boards with no problem!
Also fyi: A complete organized library of all my videos, digital slides, pics, & sample pathology reports is available here: kikoxp.com/posts/5084 (dermpath) & kikoxp.com/posts/5083 (bone/soft tissue sarcoma pathology). In case you need to touch up on a specific entity.
Need closed captions? Download text transcript of entire video here: bit.ly/2WwCwsj. HUGE thanks to my awesome UAMS medical students who typed the transcript for this ENTIRE 4+ hour video (nearly 50,000 words!) to make closed captions available. Unfortunately, I talk so fast that it seems that CZcams cannot sync the timing of the closed captions with what I'm saying during my portion of the video (sorry!). If you need closed captions and are having trouble with timing of them, just download the document at the link above and search for the entity name to see what I'm saying.
Thank you so much for all your efforts Dr. Rajendra Singh and Dr.Jerad Gardner ...This is the most complete study material in skin pathology....this video is a priceless treasure....Sir can we have a similar kind of video for soft tissue? Please accept my regards
US Derm Resident here. Your CZcams channel is a fantastic contribution to medical education... Dr G- any chance you could do a few cutaneous lymphoma reviews? Couldn’t find anything other than an early MF case. Either way, thanks for what you’re doing!
Yeah lymphomas are difficult for me still! I have plans to have my friend and colleague Dr. Jakki Junkins Hopkins as a guest on my channel in near future. She’s a cutaneous hemepath guru so it should be enlightening for all of us (me included!). I also highly recommend Antonio Subtil’s cutaneous lymphoma book. It’s less than $100 and is outstanding. I have a video review of it on my channel. czcams.com/video/17EajfRtXqM/video.html
4:24:00 of high-yield dermpath content on CZcams. This video is possibly the closest experience available out there of that instant book-reading superpower every pathology resident ever fantasized about unblocking... T H A N K Y O U!! so efficient, I can't even...
Thank you for letting me know. A transcript of subtitle text is available for download in video description. It should have the captions for those diseases. CZcams sometimes struggles to include all of the captions when there are a lot of words in a short period of time.
slightly unrelated to this, but I just started my residency (so super junior resident), and will be starting my first dermatopathology rotation and was wondering what book I should buy/ use as a reference. I've heard variable opinions: Rapini, Elston, Barnhill, McKee...I would love your opinion/suggestions!
So many great books. I’m a big fan of Rapini. Many of my residents like the Elston book. I haven’t had time to really look over it much but Dirk Elston is an awesome teacher so I suspect it is great. For large Dermpath reference book, McKee is my favorite. Dr. McKee is also very active on Facebook. Be sure to join his group (McKee derm); excellent place to directly interact with a master of Dermpath and learn from him directly. I’m writing a Dermpath survival guide but it won’t be published till next year. Christine Ko has an awesome book that correlates clinical and Dermpath: www.us.elsevierhealth.com/dermatology-visual-recognition-and-case-reviews-9780323375313.html. Thankssss alot 👍🏻
very nice thank you
Thank you both for the amazing review, can i ask what else would cause a cornoid lamella other than porokeratosis ?
Sometimes can see similar finding in actinic keratosis. Or in Grover disease.

Thanks a ton :)
Does anyone have a functional link to the path presenter slides?
Thanks
@jerad Sir..is there any video of you showing difference between EPS and RPC?
actually the subtitle is missing Sneddon-Wilkinson disease and IgA pemphigus on every occasion :D but great work thank you all for your efforts
Thank you for letting me know. A transcript of subtitle text is available for download in video description. It should have the captions for those diseases. CZcams sometimes struggles to include all of the captions when there are a lot of words in a short period of time.
You mentioned the cytoplasm of melanocytes. I've always thought of the word: spidery
Yes they often are! See also my Melanocytes vs Keratinocytes made easy video: kikoxp.com/posts/3802
How do you access the transcript/cc?
