We are in the Michigan Upper Peninsula, or the U.P. at this very moment awaiting the fall colors to come around in full.
The colors are almost at perfection and so we wait.
Presently, we are visiting a farm in Pelkie, MI, a small farm community in the Keweenaw Peninsula.
While here, we are surrounded by animals galore on about 120 acres of farm land.
Pigs, cows, horses, chickens, ducks and more dot the landscape. It's a weird, yet very pleasant stay here in the Keweenaw.
In this video we are going over the areas we've visited and those we plan to head back to.
Those which made the list are the Rapid River Truck Trail in and near Escanaba, the Brockway Mountain Overlook, and the Lake of the Clouds overlook in the Porcupine Mountains.
The colors are not quite yet where we'd like them to be, but they are most certainly close.
This video will provide you with an update on the area and where the colors are.

@@livingwithrob Hi guys, I have a question. If you had it to do over again would you still have chosen the minne winne that you currently have or do you now wish you had something different? I lost my wife to cancer this past Feb and I'm trying to decided to "step out in faith" and go full time RV living like we had talked about before she got sick.. I'm having a hard time to commit to doing it on my own and an even harder time trying to decide what type of rig would suit me best, class A, C, or travel trailer. I have a 23 Ram 1500 with the HD tow package air suspension etc. and can tow up to 11,000 lbs with a total payload weight up to 1500lbs. This means I would have to stay with a mid to small travel trailer, but could tow my truck behind a class A or C if I decide to go that route. Any insight that you can provide? Thank you!
