I add up all my expenses for the month. For example my one month ahead is $1700. I find a challenge asking that amount and save it. I don't do each expense separately. It works!! Once I have one full month I put it in my bank to earn interest.

I love the Lets Save 5000 ! The smaller amounts are more achievable than those big numbers that some get caught up on, especially with a lower budget .
I’m saving The One Month Ahead as a “Just in Case” fund. I do mine weekly and have been doing it for about 8 weeks now, yes it’s going to take me a while to get each one finished but it will be worth it.

I really like the save $5,000 book. I need to start saving for big house repairs and that would be a good way because as we know they ain’t cheap lol.
