Incredible saves. This is action F1 fans can only dream of
They barely see a straight line
Motorcycle racing, especially in the smaller classes, is the most entertaining. Dangerous, but entertaining.
Love that its mostly Marc Marquez on the vid! Shows just how On The Limit the guy is even in
Free practice. Incredible skillset man. Just Incredible

The center of the tires are still brand new 👌
Opposite of my ones. They almost look square now
Something like "you must suck in the straights"!
..but the panties don't... :-D
Marquez went from crashing, to the most amazing saves, to not crashing hardly at all. The kid is a phenomenon.
Il est possible que tu lui aies porté malheur/It's possible that you brought him bad luck/é possìvel que você tenha trazido azar para ele
It is amazing when riders like MM think they immune to crashing. How did MM think that it cannot happen to him! He had two near death experiences!
And now he crashes in most races. Doesn't have th strength to do saves like these anymore.
This comment didn't age well.

Wish I'd had their chops in 1970 when I came out of a wet left-hand sweeper and either simply rolled on too much throttle or hit some floated oil on the road. Last thing I could remember before coming to, was being sideways and trying to wrestle out of it rather than lay the bike down. Based on the damage, I figure I got pitched off the high side and hit on my head and right shoulder. Wouldn't be here today had I not been wearing a quality helmet. Suffered concussion and amnesia as it was, plus broken collarbone, split shoulder blade and some knuckles ground down with a bit of white bone or gristle showing in one. Oh, the joys of immortal youth!
0.44 perfect example that every high-side starts as a low-side .!
I still am blown away at how the tires can stick at such an angle and speed.
マルケスはヤバイな。シュワンツも限界超えてたけど危険なライダーって感じではなかった
If like me you’ve often wondered how these guys can ride almost horizontally...., it’s the gyroscopic effect that’s created by the forward motion of the bike,in that the machine wants to remain vertical and the riders have to assert pressure to get the bikes to come off the vertical.
Learn more about bike physics. Bikes can be ridden with the gyro moments neutralized with opposite spinning masses. In fact, people seek ways to shave weight off those wheels as much as possible.
All the magic is in the steering geometry that balances out the bike almost automatically.
These guys are awesome
1:00 ANYONE who can spin a Sportbike out and not Not go down, is a Hero!
Great saves are things of Beauty !

The same did Simoncelli, but unfortunately he was unlucky. R. I. P. Sic 58
There is no bike. There is no man. There is only unified bikeman. Outstanding integration of man and machine.
Yes, but not if you are sitting on it with legs spread. Holding on to the bike with hands is not the best option for pivot point when it shakes.
@@japancine rr r ggra g byy
@@japancine I am not that experienced. Please explain more. I've heard that it's good to hold the grips loosely but the legs should grip the sides. Thanks
@@dantimber I went to Japanese driving school and I have learnt from professional Japanese racers the rules that work best in all cases except maybe when you must let the bike go (drop).
You should be grabbing on to the bike with your legs, while sitting on it. Grab so strongly that one should not be able to push or pull you off the bike even if they try hard. You will have more control of the bike when you do so.
Having said that, what about the "knee" turns? Well, test prove we don`t need them. Even sharper angles are possible when you are not kneeing. There were videos on youtube, but I cant find them now. Japanese racers demonstrating no knee technique working just fine, proving "knee" totally unnecessary. Of course, you should be holding on to the bike with your legs at all times, even during turns, providing you more control and feel of the bike.
I hope that helps.
@@japancine The only bike I've ridden is a relative's 300 and that was only with brief instructions. So basically all I know is from watching dozens and dozens of videos which has been helpful. I want to learn to ride and buy a bike and plan to take a riding class.
One thing that has baffled me is how riders are able to handle such heavy bikes. I understand the principal of rotating mass and how the bike wants to stay upright but controlling it still seems daunting. That's why I marvel at the speeds of racing and even normal riding on the street of heavy bikes.
Gripping the bike with your legs seems like a lot of effort. I don't see riders do that much but maybe it's only necessary when turning or riding at higher speeds? As for the inside knee down I see that in nearly every video of high speed turns so what you're saying is intriguing. It does kind of makes sense though. Thanks for the reply
Marquez is just a mad man. Awsome

The first save is ingenious. Brilliant.
Did I just learn something? If the rearend gets squirrelly, you should stand up so you are letting the bike correct itself underneath you while you stay basically stable.
Hmmm. Cool.
"Learn to crash before you go fast"
In a nutshell, expect the unexpected, especially on a wet track.
after experiencing a couple crashes and slides I wonder how do they save it how do they do it?
Good leather saves skin...What an irony!
Sorry I don't know Chinese or Japanese love ur bikes thank u very much...peace
It is said that these are unsafe at any speed. Well, not for all are they unsafe. These riders are beyond amazing. Okay, they're just plain nuts! 😉 But they're amazing to watch!
Amazing racer it's most dangerous run
ここまでしないと高速で曲がれないコースってのが凄い
プロってすげえなぁ・・・
Showing the same crash three or four times is bringing me back
These guys are savage. If 4 wheel drive racers are drivers, these guys are so much beyond that; they are driver-athletes.
When I was a kid I used to think that the bikers have wheels on their knees for when touching the ground around the corners! Today I underatood I was wrong!
Schon der Hammer, was die Fahrer mittlerweile abfangen 😍😍😍
Never go beyond the laws of physics! If you do, you pay the consequences! If Simoncelli had not remained attached to the bike and had fallen, he would be alive NOW! R.I.P. Marco Simoncelli!
See these guys fail to lose it simply because their balls of steel lowers the center of gravity thus keeping them upright in these awkward situations. :)
Gee, Marquez was in there a few times, and look at his skill. No wonder he is so succesful.
When your kneepads get warm, that's the first sign. When your elbow pads get warm, that's the second.

This happened to me recently. Hit an invisible bump while going 75 around a turn. I was feet over head clapping my ankles and back on the seat in a split second that was so vivid I saw the facial expressions of 3 drivers and counted the clouds in the sky.

Kinda same thing happened to me yesterday…. Entered the expressway pretty hot, went to pass an ambulance that was in the right lane, and there was a sizable bump in the road that both put me airborne AND angled/turned my front tire…

1:08 was super scary because that’s how Marco died 😭😭😭 so strong when he caught the slide and pushed back up the bike gripped and flung him back across the track and into traffic. If he was weaker or not such a strong competitor and just let it low slide he would be alive today.
