I was wondering why you didn't wash and trim it BEFORE cutting to donate? It looks like it should have been trimmed about 5 or 6 inches first. Then cut shorter to give more? I just did mine. It only needed to be trimmed about an inch first. I washed, trimmed, then got it cut short, chin length, so it was an actual sacrifice. My hair will grow so I wanted the recipient to get as much as possible, and all trimmed, healthy hair that was the same length. I was just really shocked to see it wasn't trimmed first. Then when I saw where she placed the rubber bands to cut it I was confused, like what?? This was my second time and I donated 15 inches of thick healthy hair - 2 thick braids.

I’m donating to them! My hairs at least 2 feet long and I’m cutting it to my color Bone. I was supposed to donate ftk at my mini thon but that got cancelled this year and children with hair loss is who we used last year so I’m gonna cut it and ship it
