Agreed. I need to be in his gym. Anyone know where he trains fighters at?

I appreciate you doubling down on the "defense first" paradigm. Rule #1 is defend yourself at all times.

Man I've improved so much since watching some of your first videos. So many guys learn and apply boxing 1 technique at a time without ever seeing the bigger picture. Viewing the sweet science through a systematic lens as you teach makes everything "click" that much more every time you train, spar, or fight. I truly think the "high percentage" framework has given me an edge over so many of my peers who still view the sport as just a collection of discrete hand striking techniques. Much love coach!

It definitely made understanding when to use the delay, duran and dempsey much easier. This looks like a valuable tool for some shadowboxing rounds.

Love this, I can really say that your videos have probably had the biggest impact on my boxing. No other channel that I know of presents this in such a systematic way. I think the ideas for the double rope can be also applied to the heavy bag, as it's a similar width, only moving? Watching whether I am in the center or slightly to the left or to the right should help in throwing better combos and move around the bag more purposefully.

When throwing a hook from either side, besides being off your opponents centerline, should you also be outside the jab/cross lane, respectively?

Very cool video! One question I have for you if you have the time coach, why do you throw your body punches short and low with a horizontal hooklike trajectory when shadowboxing? I ask because I was taught to throw most body punches on more of 45 degree angle, somewhere between a hook and uppercut, and to be a bit longer because the body is typically further away than the head and to reach behind the elbow you have to open up. At times it looks as though you are punching at groin level in this video (14:30), I ask because if it is a part of your system I am curious as to why. Thanks again for the tutorial. - Will

@@bambaraboxing Thanks! Id seen it and I watched it again in case it answered my question but the video didn't address my question about how your punch technique fits into the framework. I haven't seen anyone else throwing body punches in the manner you are during the drag shot (trajectory, angle of the elbow) so I was wondering if there was something about your system which warranted it.
