Taking a break from Disneyland for a while . Up until the Halloween season begins at least . I’ll throw in a couple more knotts and universal visits however but a much needed break from hitting the Disney parks will be nice .
Disney is very expensive right now without passes, but they can handle that because they are still packed I am going to Knott's on Friday, normally Knott's is calm on the weekdays but lately it has been busy. I am interested to see what happens when school starts again.
I feel guilty for saying this Adam but this is music to my ears, I fully respect your passion for the Disney parks, but as a non US earthling, I resonate more when you’re out on the open road & exploring wonderful things
So Disneyland will soon be closed due to covid. They should not allow any locals into theme parks. Only visitors from out of state who are vaccinated and bring money to the local economy. Locals just ruined it for everyone else.
I agree , imagine going to Disney and lots of middle aged people are walking round talking to their go pros or whatever it is getting over exited. Disney is Disney who cares if they have a new ice cream out or slinky is open. Over saturated.
Without an annual pass tickets are so expensive to go weekly or more than twice a month its just not worth it as money can be spent better elsewhere until a new pass returns.
Omg I love the 3 heads from CBJ in the Pooh ride! It's awesome and creepy at the same time. I'm glad the attraction is still at WDW. Perfect shots of the characters at the end. You do a great job capturing these moments. Nice work. 👍
I don't usually commit on any ones blog but I have to say you would be so fun to hang out with at any amusement park I love the kid in you im a grandma of two and those kids just don't understand what its like to be a kid with all the electronics you make me miss my childhood I've been to Walt Disney world 2 time and I want to go back and yes it is my favorite place on earth. It's strange to me that they still aren't using the parking trams. We went to Busch Gardens Williamsburg last month and they were filling all the parking trams up completely.
After Disney cancelled our Annual Passes, I'm never going back to Disneyland at these crazy prices. It was a fun 4 years. I'll just watch FreshBaked and Adam here.
You guys realize Some..most ppl only see DISNEY MAYBE 1 X tear if near..or, maybev1 time as a kid!!? I'm in South Florida..Disney is about 3.5 hours away . Too far for a day or 2.. too $$ to drive up & back hotels food etc... I grew up in Huntington Beach,thus Grad night was at Disney, a prom was at Knotts..etc.. we are /were spolied.I have not been to Disney in 7 years with my kids..now teens.we had DVC when times were good..nothing like it .Dont they have a California resident pass? Why would they take Ap away? Disney stores???? Honestly..its JUST TOOO $$$ to go..I bet if they lowered prices,they'd get more trafficq..no one needs a $15 balloon..lol

My wife and I visited the US in 2019 and parked in the same car park. Not sure what we would have done if we had to walk that far! It's so sad that annual passes don't exist anymore. Not that we could get them, but Disney lovers all over the world can live vicariously through annual pass holders.
It’s kind of nice seeing the pass holders realizing what it’s like for us who pay for tickets and parking. I don’t think AP out there is ever gonna be like it was before. I was a passholders at sea world and geauga lake in Ohio years ago. Loved it. We lived in those parks all summer.

Adam, I would suggest you use your five day pass starting in late October and giving you in through early November so that you can get the best of Halloween and also the beginning of Christmastime

Been saying that since Indiana Jones opened at Disneyland,I live three and a half hours driving time from WDW and I will go to Disneyland before I die.
My dad is about to go to Disney Land with my aunt for his birthday, which was in February but they are going next month while my sister and nephews are in Sea World.

The Disney executives are too greedy. They price gouge any chance they get. I’m grateful for all my childhood memories. It was much better back then! For me… the 1980’s era. Also, many of the modern “changes” erased some of the charm of Walt’s vision. Now it’s fashionable to seek out and find any little detail perceived offensive to someone.
I feel like Disneyland is not just a theme park to many but a lifestyle. I always see a lot of people go to Disney and don't even ride rides. They just eat and shop. Plus you don't leave Disneyland without seeing a celebrity. They all go here.

@@acatic80 It’s not just refurbishment, it’s regular maintenance, fueling, all the ongoing costs associated with running them on a daily basis. They’re saving thousands of dollars a day by not running them. Anyways this is all hearsay because I don’t even work in trams, but other cast members who have told me this. One thing I know for sure though is that the company does not like unhappy guests, so it will take enough complaints to get the trams running again.
If WDW could bring back the Epcot Monorail (which they make $0 money with) Disneyland can bring back the tram. You don't want your guests starting off their day complaining about the brutal 15 minute walk.

@@DarthBrtt LA County is actually cancelled until next year from the last I heard the grounds are being used for immigration purposes rn, and they're moving it to every May (5th-30th according to the website) now instead of every September. I've been to Disneyland one time and Disney World over 30 times..?I will take Disney World any time over Disneyland. Now when I go I learned to relax rather that hustle and stand in long lines. I usually go for a longer time, like 5 to 7 days to enjoy more of the things around the rides like restaurants and shopping.

Indiana Jones has the longest queue of any ride in the Disney parks. From the starts until you actually board the ride is the length of Main Street.
I don’t believe that’s true anymore. The full Rise of the Resistance queue inside/out when used is longer now.
Maybe for DL yeah. But DW has at least 1 queue that is much longer -- Flight of Passage.
Quick tip to avoid the long tram route into the park. Use the Toy Story lot and take the bus from there to the front gate. Much better option.
BTMRR is awesome at night, especially when the fireworks are blasting off.

Disneyland in the 70s was so much less walking before getting into park, we parked outside the gates, no garages they had trams though.

I moved from CA. to Austin a few years ago and heard that the Texas State Fair is supposed to be quite the beehive of activity. Would be fun to see you try some of their famous classic fair food sometime!

@@DarthBrtt LA County is actually cancelled until next year from the last I heard the grounds are being used for immigration purposes rn, and they're moving it to every May (5th-30th according to the website) now instead of every September.
Edit : but the OC fair is still happening right now, that does look like fun, but you need reservations as is everything else in socal rn
@@ghoulannabanana You're right! Well hopefully the LA Fair happens next May! That's a bummer it got canceled for the 2nd year in a row now. It will be weird for it be at the beginning of summer now instead of the end. Weather will be better though! Late Aug-early Sep is usually the most brutal time of year for heat in southern CA.
@@DarthBrtt it will be weird for sure, I associate it with the beginning of Fall, as far back as my grandparents living in Pomona way back when, getting free tickets back in the day after they began the school year. I'm am looking forward for the lack of blistering heat though, my god was it brutal the last few years I went. Adam's got the right idea bringing umbrellas lol. Imagine a possibly rainy May day during the LA County fair?! That'd be something to see lmao! I suppose I'm alright giving up tradition for no sunburns lol.
Adam, sorry you missed Space West. But you'll be able to have a "Celebration" on Space East when you return. And when you do, you can go to Trader Sam's and park hop between MK and EPCOT via Monorail. Looking forward to your next adventure.

I've been to Disneyland one time and Disney World over 30 times..?I will take Disney World any time over Disneyland. Now when I go I learned to relax rather that hustle and stand in long lines. I usually go for a longer time, like 5 to 7 days to enjoy more of the things around the rides like restaurants and shopping.
We love theme parks, but, it is nice to mix it up a bit. Really enjoying the baseball too.
