I have seen jobs done like this where heat escaping from the kitchen through the roof caused the glue soften and the rubber sheet lifting off so i thnk you would need very thick insulation to stop the heat going up through the roof
why not chase the wall out first ? it will stop any dust ect getting under the upstand ?
Damn that wall needs rpf tape under it few years itâll be pulling a âșïž tent on wall! Wood work look good though
