And welcome to my official 6,000 subscribers dedication video! Thank you SO much to each and everyone of you! I never imagined getting to this point on my channel at all. It started with just this random thing that I just got really hooked on as a teenager and now it's one of my biggest hobbies x)
Why this video? Because I really challenged myself here. Not only did I work with characters I have never or barely worked with before, I worked with a characters that's NEVER been used before. Period. Not to my knowledge at least xD Isn't Jaq just totally adorable as a human though? x3
So the overall idea of this was to first of all retell Jaq's story of becoming human and making it into a love story and second of all, to make a fairytale like story. This is both inspired from The princess and the frog, The little mermaid and any similar fairytales. I did consider giving it a bittersweet ending and message by having Jaq realize they are just too different even if he did change everything about himself for her and go back to admiring her from afar, but I just really wanted something happy and sweet x}
Plot: Jaq is a little mouse who is head over heels for the princess in the palace he lives in. He tries to get her attention, but being an itty bitty mouse is a hugs disadvantage. His one human friend in the house, the princess' head lady in waiting, offers him to introduce him to the princess, but she can't find him in the stables and rides off. Jaq is monologging his frustration and Fairy Godmother appears. She tells him she can grant him three days to make the princess fall in love with him and kiss him. Jaq eagerly accepts the offer and becomes a human.
Jaq finds princess Anastasia and there's instant chemistry between them and they spent the next three days bonding. Two days later, Fairy Godmother talks to Jaq and reminds him that the deadline is tonight and he is slightly discouraged because he hasn't even told Anastasia how he feels about her yet. At the spring ball, Jaq and Anastasia spend way too much time trying to find each other and when they finally do, it's too late and Jaq turns back into a mouse. Before Anastasia can panic, Fairy Godmother appears and tells her that if Anastasia truly loves Jaq, all she has to do to turn him back into a human is to grand him the magical kiss. After realizing how much she loves Jaq, tail and all, she kisses him and their wish is granted. Happy ending!

Finally I had time (and enough connection) to watch the video and... what can I say? It's GORGEOUS!!! *O*
I love the story, you always have those really original stories and that's something I love so deeply (your videos with Basil and Thumbelina and Basil and Robin Hood are among my favourite crossovers ever for instance *-* and... this will probably add to the list... *immediately adds to favourites*)
The story it's charming and new, and your masking is just spotless! If I didn't know the movies so well I would easily believe they were native from those clips!!! And OMG the blush!!!!!! On both Anastasia's and Jack-Jack's cheeks!!! That was ADORABLE!!! But one of my favourite details must have been the transitions, the one with the petals and the one with Anastasia twirling around, those were fabulous *-*
What can I say? Amazing work, just amazing!!! Congratulations on your subs! You definitely deserve every single one of them and many more!!! :D

I Agree, Jaq Turns Into A Human Was My Least Favourite From Cinderella 2
I never really found Anastasia to be ugly imo...she was cute to me. Plus in Cinderella 2 and 3 she proved to be beautiful on the inside which made her an even better character. Her sister Drizella is the real ugly one!
I never really thought Anastasia was ugly either. In fact I thought she was actually very beautiful.

Better than orginal story
I've never seen any of the Cinderella sequels (though I want to), so I had no idea this wasn't actually how it went xD Damn, your editing is amazing!
This was SO cute! :DD Although I expeced Anastasia to be turned into a mouse in the end.

man this is one of those disney editing vids where if someone could take the videos rough story concept, flesh it out a little bit so it's a good flowing storyline, I'd totally make a comic out of it.
p.s. I half expected that this video was going to pull a shrek and have the kiss turn Anastasia into a mouse to be with Jaq

The story itself is so cute! I love Anastasia, and I absolutely ADORE Jaq-Jaq so this pairing is really great and creative!
Then there's the masking. Oh my god! I don't think I've ever seen better masking in any other crossover (present crossoverists excluded) It's so clean and well edited and it looks so professional. I love it I absolutely LOVE IT!!!

I think sometimes it's harder to do a happy ending because as an editor, at least for me, it's easier to tell a dramatic, dark story than a light, cheery one. So for you to do a happy story, and do it so well, I think that proves how great of an editor you are (:
