CZcams started recommending me these videos of intense mods just after i beated nightmare grimm and then felt proud but i couldnt imagine a living person can reach this level of skill, your crazy skilled.
I modded the background (plus some visual effects) out for visibility- my brain struggles to process complex, ambiguous or chaotic visuals and motion. Autism things. Even far less difficult content in games gives me a hard time without accessibility changes like this, so i mod it out wherever possible.
Mostly mods off of Scarab, though i also used Helixmod to remove a tiny amount of bloom and film grain. Plus a personal custom knight pack i made for myself to reduce clutter from stuff like spells. (Though i messed up when trying to edit the laser walls, i need to fix that eventually.) Oh, also you can disable screenshake in the vanilla config in your hollow knight folder.
