*Torniquet effect! These days more and more orthopaedic surgeons perform the TKR/TKA sans ( without) tourniquet* czcams.com/video/vQZNOvIEN78/video.html
Thanks for posting, this will really help. My husband had a bilateral knee replacement surgery about 2 and half months ago. He's been doing physiotherapy sessions twice daily and has helped a lot. He can drive, walk and almost back to routine duties. He's very impatient cos of slight stiffness and some discomfort. His flexion is about 110.Any suggestions? I am stressed cos of his complaints. .
Will this technnque work in 5th month of surgery? I have had ACL and meniscus repair surgery in November last year. Swelling still persists please help.
All fine and good ... except if we are lying flat on our backs, we can't reach down the length of our legs. So how are we supposed to do these massages without help from someone else? Attach plastic hands to our crutches?
Hello, I am 3 weeks post-op R medial meniscus (posterior horn tear) scope. I am having difficulty ambulating forwards secondary to knee "catching"...my surgeon (who has seen me twice) now has tested my ligs and ROM and states this is fluid within the joint. Walking backwards does not cause my symptoms and he made fun of me when I described my findings. I attend PT 2x/wk now (it was 3), I continue to ice and elevate the leg--how can I speed up my recovery so that I can walk without this annoying catch? Thank you.

Rocky Ruggiero You are so right. You tube is full of people that do not understand video techniques. You can do in 1 minute what takes 5 in person. You absorb more and quicker on video.
Excellent! Thank you for posting.
Extremely helpful!
Thank you for explaining about the tourniquet effect. Not very many physicians or people talk about that on these knee surgery recovery videos.

How often should this be done each day?
Does this only work after recent surgery?

Video was perfect in my opinion.
It was totally helpful to me. And perfect. Some people complain about nothing.
