    You didn't explain the PD switch.

      yeah, what's the PD switch? I couldn't find any documentation on it

    Nice overview. Do you know if the CT3 is equipped with some sort of automatic shutdown feature if the load goes too high? It'd be practical to diagnose shorts or simply protect the tester if anything goes wrong

      Good question, I am not sure. They do warn about overvoltage so I'm guessing no

    What was the Olight charging issue? Did you need to use PC software to get the AVHzY CT3 to not turn off when the current is low?

    • @LiquidRetro
      @LiquidRetro  Před rokem +1

      The Olight issue was the ct2 would stop prematurely. I was using the pc software anyways to capture the data and auto graph it so I can't say. I think I needed to adjust it slightly from the default

    Interesting, I use a CT-3 and a ChargerLAB Power-Z KM003C.

      What's the charger lab do for you that the ct3 doesn't?

      @@LiquidRetro Functionally its basically the same. I have only had it about a month, and I have not used the pc software yet. I bought it as an upgrade to the CT-3, one advantage is the main input is USB-C. It is smaller, lighter and easier to handle. Was it worth the more expensive price? Perhaps but not a solid yes. Also now that I have some experience with it, I prefer the toggle switch on the CT-3 to the buttons only on the Power-Z, the switch is just easier to use.

      @@LiquidRetrothe KM003C supports the full PD 3.1 range. So won’t be obsolete
