That empty portrait pose looks absolutely fantastic. One of the greatest poses I've ever seen on an Iron Man figure, hot damn.

I have mine preordered,and yours looks awesome, and I can’t wait to get mine.
I struggled a long time with getting this one. Gunmetal grey is pretty much my favourite colour and this thing screams awesome colour scheme with the silver on the gunmetal, they blend a lot on camera but they pop in person. Also was absolutely loaded with great accessories, and a great Tony head to boot. The only downside is that it wasn't a suit that was very important to the franchise, which generally breaks my own rule of only getting characters that have an emotional attachment with me, so if I wanted, it was just for its looks. But I got it because I'm easy :)

People actually complained about this suit? It's based off the Ultimate Iron Man suit.. I'm glad they did a re-issue, grabbed it as soon as it went up for pre-order.
I imagine the armour looked like this cos it was repaired after the events of civil war and it wasn’t repainted properly yet, ngl I dig the gunmetal grey sections.

How did you get him propped up in the air for the last pose?
Only one magnet arrived in place on the accessories. 2 magnets were stuck together off the accessories and one I cant find. You would think they would use better glue
Where do I get the hook clip? I need that to have my iron man look like it’s in the air.
What is that stand you used right at the end to hold Iron Man up like that to display him in flight? & where can I get it ? :D

The method to swap out the neck with the USB cord was ingenious!

To get the neck off even easier without the use of an extra accessory is place your thumb on the back of the neck, pressing forward and down.

Great review Jedha. Always love the lighting on your videos. They're the perfect exposure. We can see what we need to and it still feels dramatic and NOT flat. Hey would like to get your opinion. IF you could only choose one between diecast Mk 7 or this new Mk47 re-release. which would you choose and why? I have potential trade opportunity. I own the Mk7 at the moment. But also really like the look of that 47.
I’m mainly a Spider-Man collector and I missed this on the first release. Definitely getting this as my first Iron Man to pair with my Homecoming Spider-Man figures!
I collect these on a budget so I am pretty particular with who I grab which is mainly Spider-Man! But I have been dying to get an Iron man! Cannot wait!! Great video

Hoping for the day we will finally get a 1/6 Vulture but because of the Pandemic, I reckon Hot Toys will focus on getting any Iron Man, Spider Man and any thing else they can repaint as a 'variant' to bring back some money
I hope they finish the house party protocol suits. I would also love a vulture figure.

Great review although it’s pretty sad that some people were upset regarding the chrome aspects of the armor. It’s comic book accurate and based on the 1610 design of iron man. More ppl need to read the source material and not just watch the movies
there's a difference between the MK46 and the concept art MK46 which does come with a bunch of accessories

I've heard the name before on Reddit, but only recently started checking out your videos. Very detailed and informative, definitely learned how to do more posing with my Iron Man figures while listening to some amazing music, haha. I don't know if you'll see this comment and this question, but curious in 1 video you mentioned you had the Civil War Mk 46 and sold it, and you now have the concept art Mk 46. Are the suits the same, just different accessories (and no face sculpt for the concept art)? Did you like the Civil War one more? I'm an idiot trying to get all of the diecast Iron Man suits (1 of each Mk), and even though the Civil War one is going for like 50% more, I almost feel like I would like that one more? As someone that has owned both, what is your opinion on them (money aside)? Thanks, and please keep up the great videos!

How do you think this figure will hold up over time? Iron man figures have had a problem with paint turning pink. Is that still an issue?
That doesn’t happen with diecast figures
that's the most common problem for HT esp for Iron Man face plate.. always.. most of the time.. loosing magnet on the face plate…

I just went and pre-ordered this reissued Hot Toys Iron Man MK XLVII and am really looking forward to receiving this figure...especially the Mark 47 as I really am digging the paint color design especially the gun metal grey (or silver if that is what it is) color paint combined with the red paint on his armor.
As of now my favorite hot toys Iron Man is the MK VII Diecast, however I believe once I receive the MK 47 this will then be my new favorite Iron Man figure... again the beautiful paint design on the 47 is absolutely stunning. The gun metal grey (or silver) painted section goes perfectly with the rest of the other colors.
I also pre-ordered the hot toys mark 85 clean version. Once I have all the Iron Man figures displayed next to each other the display is going to look phenomenal and completely bad ass. 😎
If the MK L is still available once I pay off my current figures I will try and pick him up as well.

Cable trick is cool and all until you break the ball joint. Just don't do it too much I guess.

I missed out on this originally and regretted it massively, so I have the reissue on order. Super stoked! It's such a beautiful colour combo and suit! I'm guessing it's gonna be pretty much exactly the same, since they'll most likely be reusing the same molds and such!

I got the original release and damn he was pricey(3x times of the second release)and then this happens not cool from hot toys! Don't get me wrong it is good for people who missed out the first time but for Collectors at this price point it was a slap in the face! Great review and congratz!✌🏾👍🏾
$400 ? Its too small. Maybe if they would of made his human body inside and be able to take off the armor and actually see Tony underneath. Just my opinion.
We obviously he's already unboxed it as there's no plastic on top of the figure
