Thank you 🥰🥰
this video is so dope and you did a fantastic job
Thank you!! I really appreciate you being here
So inspiring!
Thank you so much!!
I made a sign like this through your tutorial thank you very much! But I wanted to ask, if i don't hang it and it's used on a stand or as a sign to hold....what fabric or something can i put on the back because the dried back was not pleasant to hold for guests.
Looks amazing! Do you use any sealer on the back of your signs?
Love this 🥰 I just a video where she kept the leftovers gold and used them for flakes
Thank you!!
My gold leaf tends to start turning dark shortly after applying the paint. Like a tarnish. Any idea as to why that may be? Also, what do you typically do for signs that have open light behind it, to ensure the lettering can still be read?
Is there any difference if using a matte paint for a sign? Does one hold up better?
Awesome
Thank you so much!!
@@CarlyKeller IT'S NEVER TOO LATE TO SAY YOU'ER WELCOME.
How do you drill a hole in the acrylic to hang the sign?
Hello. Great work… how big is your font on the welcome sign?
Hello Carly, Thanks for sharing your talent! My daughter is having a NYE cocktail wedding reception. I would love to see and know where to purchase the disco ball center pieces.
That sounds like an awesome party! The florist incorporated them into her centerpieces. They were mostly floral with disco balls throughout 🕺
So pretty and thorough tutorial! Do you use anything to seal the paint? Is so what do you use?
So glad you enjoyed! I usually dont seal the sponged paint but can with polycrylic!
Carly, what do you mean when you say a plastics store? Is that a sign store?
Will you be taking orders on your Etsy soon?
What Size did you use for the seating chart and welcome sign
Do you seal the painted side?
Hi, how do you keep dust from getting on wet paint? Any tips is greatly appreciated!
I always vacuum beforehand and leave the door closed when working on large projects! Try to keep my cat out lol
Hi what size is the, find your seat
This looks amazing. What size acrylics did you use for everything?
Thanks Melissa! The seating chart is a 24x48, welcome sign 24x32, table numbers 4x6 ✨
beautiful! what size is your welcome sign as well as thickness?
Thank you so much! The welcome is a 24x32", 1/8" thick :)
Can you use any glue?
Great video! I was wondering where you buy your acrylic from?
Thank you! The acrylic is from my local plastics store
do you always do sponge method for the paint
I have lots of other tutorials with brushed, solids, etc.!
Can this be done on glass or does it have to be acrylic? If glass, would I need to use a different glue?
I'd stick with acrylic if possible! Would be such a shame to out all that work in only for it to break 😫
Hello! Greetings from Latin America, I wanted to ask if you sell acrylics with metal pedestals.
Hi Lina! I'm not currently shipping overseas, but my acrylic provider might! plasticareinc.com/
What size are these welcome signs normally? As well as thickness please.
Hey Chris the welcome signs usually 18x24 or 24x32 and the seating charts vary depending on guest count. Typically 1/8 thick!
@@CarlyKeller awesome, thanks for the reply Carly!
How much do your large acrylic pieces cost you?
Anywhere from $15-35 depending on size, thickness and color!
Ok so that’s where I’m running into a problem on where to find the acrylic. Does Home Depot or Lowes sell these around the same price? I’m in search now in my local area for a plastic store
