    I made a sign like this through your tutorial thank you very much! But I wanted to ask, if i don't hang it and it's used on a stand or as a sign to hold....what fabric or something can i put on the back because the dried back was not pleasant to hold for guests.

    My gold leaf tends to start turning dark shortly after applying the paint. Like a tarnish. Any idea as to why that may be? Also, what do you typically do for signs that have open light behind it, to ensure the lettering can still be read?

      So glad you enjoyed! I usually dont seal the sponged paint but can with polycrylic!

      I always vacuum beforehand and leave the door closed when working on large projects! Try to keep my cat out lol

    Can this be done on glass or does it have to be acrylic? If glass, would I need to use a different glue?

      Hey Chris the welcome signs usually 18x24 or 24x32 and the seating charts vary depending on guest count. Typically 1/8 thick!

      Ok so that’s where I’m running into a problem on where to find the acrylic. Does Home Depot or Lowes sell these around the same price? I’m in search now in my local area for a plastic store
