Good review, it is a fantastic car, I've had the 2L petrol for 4 years, surprisingly good economically can get 40 mpg combined for long trips, but goes fast enough when needed. My kids are now 12 and 8 and still fit in the back, though helps that me and wife are pretty short :). Has held its value extremely well over 4 years, I could sell it for a nice profit if I wanted but totally attached to it.

Its the cars interior, especially the TTS model, that is impressive.
We all know Audi design and build beautiful car interiors, but the new TT, has one of the finest interiors around, on par with its brother the Porsche Boxter.

Please be aware of a MAJOR design fault with this car. We have bought one in the last week and suffered some heavy rain in the first few days. The design of the bottled will just pour (NOT DRIP) water into the boot space. I don't mean it's a trickle, it just runs down the inside of the lid and into the boot space. Anything in there will be soaked. We are now trying to return the car to Audi due to this fault (they call it a characteristic of the car). The Service Manager at Audi had one of these and confessed to this fault but only after we bought it.

Why do you say it’s cheaper for company car drivers to have the diesel? I have a company car with private fuel allowance. It’s far cheaper in paye tax to have the petrol version. Your thinking with diesels is out of date
