The first day of the Xross Hard Enduro Rally was intense. The weather was hot, and the forest climbs were dry. The rocky streams and valleys were very slippery. Riders had to complete a difficult 100km route. South African rider Wade Young won on his GASGAS bike, followed by Michael Walkner and Teo Kabakchiev.

Graham Jarvis faced a problem halfway through the morning. He had a bent rear sprocket, which took almost an hour to fix. Despite this, he rode fast and finished in 15th place.

Ive had this happen...it ended my day...i had an alum sprocket ...after that i ran a steel one...heavier but ...peace if mind is better than day over. And getting picked up by you friend after waiting in the woods for 6 more hrs..by the time word got bak to the pits...i was stilnout there
