I dont see it actually, i really can't picture him singing that i don't feel like it would have suitable for a scene where people sing in a school choir
Actually he didn't sing the end of the song where the word gay is mentioned maybe it could spoil the topic since the beginning when you watch the show for the first time
The best scene.......is episode 6 when Simon explains to Wilhelm at the back of Simon's house that he won't be a secret.....for the LGBTQ+ community....an extremely important message.....as for the importance of Young Royals in the greater scheme of things....it is currently the best LGBTQ+ show on the planet...and not to take away from the importance of Skam....Skam was 2016/17 and things have moved on from then......just as in a few years something else will come a along which will provide the LGBTQ+ community with a new positive.....Omar, Edvin and the entire cast and crew need to take a bow.......and we all know if there isn't at least a second season....all hell will break loose.

Drama... for sure. Imagine Simon finding out that August leaked the video, and also finding out that Sara knew this whole time.... yet Sara still made out with August and asked him for things in exchange of not exposing him for leaking the video. Simon is going to be heart broken because they promised to always tell each other everything
AND remember: August can only think that it was Sara that told Wilhelm...He couldn't possibly know about pixels

great interview!! actually when i think about it..if we didn't know about Omar and someone completely different played the role of Simon, it would seem normal to us, but now that Simon is played by Omar, I really can't imagine anyone else playing it! it's just all perfect and fitting! can't describe how muuuuuuch i love that serie and how much it means for me..

The Swedish education system deserves all the honours. What kind of English as a third language is that?! 🤯 It takes a school to retrain brains. Oh it takes a school to retrain brains.
We study English from the age of 7 in Sweden up until high school when we are between 16-19. And most of us use English in our day to day lives (on social media, for school/work, when we watch movies or listen to music, play video games etc.).We also study a third language from the age of 12-13 (usually Spanish/French/German) and some people study that until high school as well. Omar dropped out of school when he was 16 to pursue his music career, as he was traveling the US the semester he was supposed to transfer to high school so he only studied English in school until he was 15. But he probably learned a lot when he and the other boys in his former band traveled and most of their music is in English (they did some Spanish versions of their songs and Omar had some solos in Spanish as well though). Omar did not know Swedish when he first moved here, so he also had to learn Swedish from the age of six as well.

@@nhule8442 Omar's first language is Spanish. That is why some of his old band's songs are partly in Spanish or there is a Spanish version of them. He lived in Venezuela with his mother until he was six. Then they moved to Sweden because his mother had met a Swedish man that she married. So he learned Swedish from age 6. And then he learned English in school as well.
Finland's school system is the best and Sweden system is ispirate by it. P.S. Sorry for my bad english.
the word i think you were looking for is "synergy". I think the fish naming scene is utterly original and touching and believable. I think it is going to become a classic scene.
Fun fact: According to the recounting by the Intimacy Coordinator, it was Omar's idea at the last moment...though it was not improvised on the spot...and the names he thought up are the other members of his band! hahaha

This series has yet to relieve us of Wilhelm's continuous WREFS* condition since the first choir performance. He's had 2 relief sessions so far, but that's not enough for all of us to know he's actually getting better. Hopefully, Season 2 will provide US [the watchers], and of course, Wilhelm and Simon some needed relief and pleasure.

*Season 2:* Wilhelm skips a royal event and "borrows" a car to go see Simon and spend the night. Simon just can't refuse spending a night with Wilhelm. Simon's body is just too smooth and hot to ignore.

That is the exact coin that Ed was wearing in another interview. Either they agreed not to were the same necklace at the same time, or they exchange the one: probably they each have the same necklace.

People ask this a lot, and I think the answer is an obvious yes (and it probably has already been renewed, and the cast has been warned against saying anything because Netflix has such strict rules on spoilers.) In fact these interview questions are very similar to other interview questions both leads have been asked. And it's no suprise. Netflix is notorious for giving the cast a set of talking points to stick too.Although this cast is young and had trouble sticking to them sometimes, especially on social media (which I find adorable.)
This show was originally created for Sweden and luckily shared with other countries. All it had to do was remain in the top 10 in Sweden and the surrounding Nordic countries, and it would have likely been renewed. And it remained top 10 in Sweden for over a month, and top rated in other Nordic countries as well. It's probably one of Netflix Nordic's most streamed shows of 2021.
I am always befuddled when people ask about Season 2. Like ofc there will be. Still I know how you feel, it would be nice to have a cute official announcement.

Thus in fact Omar is totally new to this experience with Wilheim: Omar's is occasional hesitation, and the excellence he acts those scenes, since they are totally new for him. Curious at 23 Omar has never fallen in love and Wilheim at 18 has had the experience.
