As you mention this one is quite old I think the RW stands for rose wood regarding the fingerboard and bridge. Seems they changed to Indian laurel and now they're walnut... Also worth noting they're the same finish and same Fishman electronics but under £200 right now. Which seems like a bit of a bargain. I only know as I just picked one up.

Hello I can't decide between this guitar or the fender CD-60SCE Which one do you recommend?
I think the cd-60sce is older, but I saw that its top is made of spruce, while the top of the 235e is made of laminated maple, so I don't know what to doooooo
Cheers Francisco. Haven't played a Cd60sce so I couldn't say. The neck on this is quite thick. But has great natural tones.

Is it necessary to add a pickguard to this guitar?
Hey Jean 🤙 um I don't think so no. It depends on your strumming really! If you're strumming correctly you shouldn't hit that part of the guitar with your pick. Your little pinky should be lightly grazing it. I think pick guards are more for cosmetic reasons than protection.👹🤘
