Vaishnav Janato | वैष्णव जनतो | Soothing Bhajan | Lata Mangeshkar | Reeshabh Purohit | Gandhaar Amin

Reeshabh presents a rendition of the popular bhajan 'Vaishnav Jan To' written by the 15th century poet Narsinh Mehta and originally sung by Lata Mangeshkar.
The poem speaks about the life, ideals and mentality of a Vaishnava Jana (a follower of Lord Vishnu). Reeshabh presents this poem in a modern style. With a full string section orchestra, tabla, piano and guitars, Reeshabh's rendition looks at this classic traditional bhajan in a new light!

Omg what a masterpiece to sing again so beautifully. This made me go and read about the poet Narsinh Mehta from Junagadh, Gujarat. So beautiful. Please keep on doing more renditions. I play them almost daily especially Shri Ramchandra Kripalu bhajman.
