Scott Caan (Mad Skillz), hijo del legendario actor James Caan (El Padrino) y Alan Maman (Mudfoot) se conocieron cuando eran adolescentes en el rico barrio de Beverly Hills, California. El dúo comenzó a actuar en todo el área de Los Ángeles y ganó reconocimiento. El amigo de la infancia de Maman, Evidence, presentó al grupo a Quincy Jones III y comenzaron a trabajar en una demostración. Eventualmente llamaron la atención de B-Real de Cypress Hill, quien invitó a los adolescentes a unirse al colectivo The Soul Assassins, que también consistía en Cypress Hill, House of Pain y Funkdoobiest. The Whooliganz recorrieron el país con los Soul Assassins y su conexión les ayudó a conseguir un contrato discográfico con Tommy Boy Records.

No entiendo bajo que lógica el sello tommy boy decidió cancelar lavsalida de este album. Tenian todo para triunfar sin mencionar las colaboraciones con breal, son doobie y everlast. No existe un album con todo ese super combo reunido. Tal vez hubieran llegado a ser leyenda como los beastie boys.

I dont understand how that happened so frequently in the 90s. I mean they spend tens of thousands on it and use everyones time up and then just dont release it? It just doesnt make sense. Releasing anything is better than releasing nothing.
