After months of speculation about what the movie's title means for the future, Sony Motion Pictures Group chairman Tom Rothman has confirmed one fear about Venom: The Last Dance. Plot details are currently under wraps for the fifth installment in Sony's Spider-Man Universe, with set photos seemingly indicating that the movie will pick up shortly after Eddie Brock's Spider-Man: No Way Home crossover cameo. The ensemble Venom: The Last Dance cast will see Hardy joined by Juno Temple in an undisclosed lead role, as well as Chiwetel Ejiofor and Clark Backo, with Kelly Marcel, who penned the script for all three movies, making her directorial debut.
During a recent interview with Deadline for the Cannes Film Festival, Rothman opened up about the studio's plans for their various franchises heading into the future. Looking at their Marvel content, in particular, Rothman confirmed that Venom: The Last Dance will be the final movie centered on Tom Hardy's alien vigilante. The Sony exec did, however, assure that the franchise's swan song "is going to be huge."

For anybody who cares, the plot was leaked two days ago. There’s a decent chance it’s true but still it’s Sony and they can change anything last minute. So basically this is it:
Venom uses his hivemind to see that in almost every universe spider man kills him. So he and Eddie hunt for their universes spider man before he kills them. When they find him he’s only 10 and Eddie doesn’t want to kill him. Meanwhile, Toxin is out there claiming he wants to kill all monsters, and he poses a threat to both venom and the young Spider-Man (Who by the way has no powers yet.) He has also created a new group of symbiotes (One of them is heavily rumored to be scream) who also wanna kill venom. Plus, there is also another group, the jury. This group is a group with heavy military equipment, led by Orwell Taylor. Apparently Carnage killed Orwells son in the prison break last movie. Now Orwell and the jury also wanna kill all symbiotes. Now Eddie and venom have to protect spider man and the city of San Francisco against toxin and the group of symbiotes and the dangerous jury group.
(Btw this information was found on a survey that commonly leaks plots)
