Is anyone going to call BS on this? Legit. And if it's real, then just further proves Caribou's point that folks like Leonhart are gatekeepers to this hobby who have access to stuff regular fan's dont have. Like we really gonna believe he just happened to find out about this ladies crisis, and was able to swoop and buy these at a "fair price". This is like the 10th time he has told one of these stories. Enough is enough.

Honestly he prolly paid less than 400k for them. I can’t imagine someone with a half million dollar home ran into foreclosure but I could be wrong. He prolly paid 100-200k is my guess.

I have a complete set of the base set and so many collectors and Auctions have told me you will not get much money for that collection... It's worth more to me than it is the value that is why I stopped collecting.... The only reason why the shelves are empty today is because people with a lot of subscribers on CZcams have bought many cards so now the values go up a little bit.... My base set was in auction and only going to bring 10,000 that's nothing. And the Charizard Is shadow less.... I spent more on those cards and what they were gonna give me back... And the places I took them are well known to many people

I'm glad I read this as I'm looking at spending up to £300 a month on different sets to store them away, but have always been curious if you can make money. I know it's not leonhart's style, but be nice if he could do a video showing how much some items cost compared to what they will sell for.

He probably paid 150k to 200k that’s a lot of money ! I still got 6 sealed boxes of Skyridge and 2 Base set 1rst edition and 3 boxes of base set unlimited . I was offered $350 k cash back in October for all of it and I said HELL NO just the first edition base set I can sell for $350k ! I only sold 2 boxes of Green Skyridge sealed boxes and I gave a guy a deal sold him 2 for $50k !

I went to a storage unit auction last month ended up buying a unit for $490 and found over 15 sealed booster boxes of Neo Of all 3 sets plus 2 boxes of 1st Ed Team Rocket and mixture boxes that were opened with different packs in them all sealed. As a collector I hit my mini jackpot these cards bring back the good days.
