Betrothed tells the story before the story of The Lion King, about Queen Uru and King Ahadi - Mufasa and Scar (Taka)'s parents. It's about duty vs. desire, loss, unrequited love, and temptation. Uru, in her betrothal to Ahadi, has had many things decided for her. She still finds a way to make choices, but are they the right ones?

It’s sad because while WE know that Mufasa and Sarabi come to fall in love with one another, Uru doesn’t. For all she knows, Mufasa could be in a similar position as her, if not worse. While Uru does some things that frustrate me, she’s very sympathetic and it’s easy to understand her situation

Uru's hesitance to betroth Mufasa to Sarabi is very, VERY understandable. You can tell that it broke her heart that she just helped in taking away a VERY vital choice from her son: the choice to select his OWN lover when he is mature enough. Also, the fear that Mufasa may not fall in love with Sarabi and Sarabi not falling in love with Mufasa is a VERY valid concern too. =(
yes not all bethrothals end up happy sometimes it ends in a bitter marriage times end up in one committing a crime punishable with life in prison or one taking there life in pure desperation to not stay in a loveless marriage or they end up seperating and divorcing in secret but pretending they are stilled married just to keep the families okay

These videos are such a treat to edit and voice act in! Uru seems to be making more questionable decisions. Will she be able to rectify this family mess or will things start going downhill for our poor queen?

To be honest, I started crying with Uru at the end. I understand her pain and the feels just hit me so fast 😔
I can't begin to list how many emotions this made me feel. Betrothed is getting emotional, and I do mean emotional, and I love it all the more for that! Plus, thickening the plot with that post-credits scene was perfect.
I missed the premier do to work but I did watch after work so that was a nice surprise. I bet it feels good to get this done and out.

Absolutely great! But that ending though! However if Uru feels some jealousy or something, she's in no position to be, after all she did sleep with a rogue male whom she confessed her love to. But where is this rogue male now? Hmmm, bet he's gonna catch her in a good time.

Until there is a “the end” there will always be more. Just don’t forget to see the after credits.
I don't want to say this, but in another sense, Uru brought this on herself, and Zuzu did the wrong thing when Uru and Ahadi were cubs, she said that when they got older they would get married, which made Uru think it was just a joke, but then it turned out that Mohatu did it, but Mohatu betrothed them only so that the Uru family would not die as a result of a war that they could almost avoid. and another son: Taka, yes, the same lion cub who does not have a real father, who was taken away from him, and the one who was traumatized by his mother's story if Uru had left with Rehema, yes, the lion that the Queen Uru loved. then Taka probably wouldn't have become evil, and wouldn't have been covered with hatred after all this, and even Taka would have had some other name, not what *trash* means, but I feel little sorry for Uru, and I understand why Kiara, as an adult, began to resent what Simba didn't give she has a chance that she will cope, because then she would have made the mistakes that her great-grandmother made when she was at her young age. this comic has more truth to the TLK prequel than the others.

I use Filmora. But I mainly edit. I wish I could draw like Nala 15. She draws the art, I do the screen transitions, music, and sound effects.

What made you want to make Zawati up?
I'm not sure what you're asking...? Uru needed a mom for the story and since Uru isn't a canon character (not from the movies or any official material), she doesn't have any official Disney-made ancestors either. So I kinda... had to make Zawati up.

I know that uru is a jerk but she doesn’t have to mary someone who is good to her like ahadi and why nobody saw that she’s a two timing timer once a cheetar is always a cheetar and I hoped that someday that ahadi open his eyes and bring everyone to be witness who they saw uru with another male lion who is not ahadi and she should be exiled and she should be with the male lion and not ahadi and then ahadi has to married zira’s mother and then nobody will break the pridelands and priderock too and that’s it
