Number 10 on this list: even though it's in Japan a very similar experience happened to me over in California's version of Indiana Jones. I already gave a full personal story in the other video about how did the boulder trick work. So what you're seeing on the screen in this video is pretty much what I saw when my ride vehicle to an unexpected stop all those years ago.
I got stuck on that ride, we got stuck towards the end of the ride, and people got out of the ride when the cast member on the intercom said not to and the ride got back up again.
I got stuck on that in 1999 so this is nothing new, LOL. It usually seems to be caused by the motors jamming when it tries to rotate the stage. They were between two scenes and it stopped. Everyone was so quiet you could hear the motors grinding. Then a CM shouted "Turn the lights back on!" I don't know why but I started laughing uncontrollably. They turned them on, the stage started moving again and they cut the lights. The ride continued without any more hiccups. Fortunately for me, in my three trips to DW, that was my only ride breakdown. However, that McCormick kid was lucky to be able to WALK through "London" when Peter Pan broke down...
In the new Jurassic world ride I got stuck right before the drop and they did not get us out they didn’t even tell us the ride was back when it started.they told us while we were going down
I was on the original Disneyland Carousel of Progress in the 1960s when it got stuck and didn't rotate ahead. We sat through the same scene several times before it eventually continued on. In the next scene, John says something like "why don't you sing along? You ought to know the song by now" which caused the audience to laugh hysterically.
I remember going on a lights-on ride of space mountain in Disneyland way back in the day. It was a special cast member night in the park. Bonus: Our guide on Jungle Cruise was allowed to go completely off script and did everything in a Forrest Gump voice.
Shoutout to my cousin who accidentally pushed the emergency stop button for Peter pans ride at Disneyland. They had to evacuate the whole ride- Someone got a nice breakdown tour 😃
Yeah I learned the hard way that emergency buttons are not toys when I was a little girl riding the SkyTrain in Vancouver. On the SkyTrain the big red button activates the speaker phone system to the OMC and it’s only for emergencies and security threats
I wonder if you mean the pause to let the wheelchair users on, and not an actual breakdown, though I remember the poltergeist thing is used for both. It was definitely used for me and my parent when we had to pause it to get on together.

@@Roadent1241 Yeah. Most people think a stoppage in the middle of the ride is a breakdown. If it's 2 minutes or less, way more likely assisting people onto the ride since they have to stop the entire track.
@@danjtams Yeah, I know, and I'm sorry I've contributed to the idea that HM 'breaks down' at all. The conveyor belts aren't very safe for people with no balance and very little ability to walk in the first place. I can walk fine and I find that the scariest part.

I was personally in the queue when this happened, and to entertain the guests, the CMs passed around popcorn, water, and fruits. They even brought Rey and Chewbacca to interact with guests. After lots of waiting, we finally got on ROTR and was awesome. Wish I would have gotten a video!!
In January 2020 I was on Space Mountain at WDW. We were on the right side. We were going up the lift hill and you could see the left car stopped moving. We then stopped at the top for around 15 seconds and the lights turned on. Then our car started moving down the track with the lights on. The left track had to be evacuated. Then they gave us a FastPass to come back when it reopened! I told the cast member that I did not need a FastPass because I was already happy. The cast member laughed and then gave my entire family 2 FastPasses!!! It was the coolest experience of my life!

The only interesting breakdown I’ve been in was with my sister on “Journey into Imagination,” we were stuck at the scene just before reaching Figment’s house having Figment stare into our souls. I swore never to ride it again lol.
Right now Disneyland is only allowing california residents to come to the park and your channel has really helped me get my dose of Disney until I’m able to go to the parks

I actually had the carousel of progress issue happen to me!! I went with my mother for my birthday and as the carousel started switching to the next scene, it stopped for a few minutes. Also I have never seen a breakdown occur for Soaring, and it's kind of one of my fears. I'd love to have a breakdown on any ride aside Soaring. Eeeek

Last time I went to Disney, only once did I go through every single element of Rise of the resistance as intended. 1. Skipped the entire pre show and went through the staff hallway straight onto the star destroyer. The Kylo Ren animatronic didn’t show up. 2. Went through the Fastpass line because the regular queue was shut down. Not sure if there just weren’t many people on the ride that day or if the other queue wasn’t working or something. Probably just lack of people, but still, we didn’t get the full experience. 3. Everything went smoothly. Turns out we weren’t missing much with the regular queue, just some in line seating.
I was at it yesterday and you know that sene where Pete has the hammer thing and the seats vibrate? Well the seats didn’t work and all the audio turned off and Donald’s horn didn’t work so we got into the daisy sene where she teaches dance class her whole animatronic failed it just froze and her audio turned off we stopped for a sec and then the ride kept going it was funny

We broke down at the end of Ellen's Energy Adventure, just as the vehicle was halfway into the last show room that had the screen playing the last video, where Ellen wins Jeopardy. We had to evacuate, and as we were getting off another guest called out, asking what happens for Ellen, and the cast member very happily goes "She wins!"

Magic Kingdom MUST have been having some kind off issue when I went on a trip in 2016. We got stuck on It's a Small World AND Seven Dwarves Mine Train. Neither led to an in-show exit, but the delays we experienced were weird. We were at a full stop for about 10 mins on Its a Small World with the music continuously playing, and I think it made none of us want to go on that ride ever again lol. Later in the evening, we went on Mine Train, and we were stopped for a couple minutes on the incline with the Heigh Ho music playing before the real thrill part of the coaster kicks in. I don't do well with coasters, so being in that position for a little while weirded me out.
I love space mountain. I went to Disneyland when avengers campus opened up and there was still maybe 35% compacity. It scared the heck out of me though. That’s why I am going on again when we go back!!! (Never thought I needed my green belt strength more in my life)

I used to work on Figment in 2017 and I’m STILL so upset I never did an inshow exit! I was there for 9 months and the closest I ever got was getting stuck on the ride myself in the load station 😂😂
One time when me and my sister went to Disneyland we went on the Finding Nemo Submarine voyage and at the end of the ride as soon as we got into the whale's mouth the ride broke down and it seemed like we were stuck there for half an hour or for some time. Sadly we didn't get any footage but the ride vehicle started working again and we left safely
This is quite random, but I have to say everytime I hear your voice do the intro, I get a wave of nostalgia from two summers ago, when I binged all your videos in a couple days. Still one of my favorite summers, and still one of my favorite channels!
Great series. After watching some of these videos, if I ever had the time, money and a little luck, I would love to see behind of the scene sort of stuff for the rides, this stuff is pretty interesting and amazing and if lucky gives you more time to check out almost everything

This is quite random, but I have to say everytime I hear your voice do the intro, I get a wave of nostalgia from two summers ago, when I binged all your videos in a couple days. Still one of my favorite summers, and still one of my favorite channels!

Great series. After watching some of these videos, if I ever had the time, money and a little luck, I would love to see behind of the scene sort of stuff for the rides, this stuff is pretty interesting and amazing and if lucky gives you more time to check out almost everything

I once was on people mover and when we went through space mountain they had a majority of the work lights on so we got a good view of the track from a distance
