- I have found my combo for frog hunting. The advantage to having a threaded revolver would be capacity since these do not feed, however, I believe that the action of a revolver would be louder than the action of the p322. What do you think?

Won't the shorts and Colibri feed from the mag? Rather than poke each one in the chamber just run the slide with your hand if they do get picked up by the slide.
For my pest control in the yard I use the CCI Quiet 22, 710 FPS with a segmented HP that frags out rather than remaining solid so less chance of the notorious 22 solid ball ricocheting. They won't cycle my Mark IV so I just run the bolt.
I tried the shorts off camera and they didn't feed. Kinda went straight up instesd of into the chamber. The colibri's won't cycle the slide, so I didn't even try 😂 I suppose if I have a magazine full I could just rack the slide to load a new cartridge
The cci quiet 22lr is same FPS as those CB shorts and is cheaper and will feed better by racking slide👍🏻
The Colibri ammo is quiet, but will NOT cycle my semi-auto guns. So I just don't care for them. Gave a lot to my dad, who shoots a bolt action .22 LR, at his backyard squirrels!
And 22 shorts won't cycle, for me, either.
But either round would be good in a close neighborhood enviroment!

Just kidding. I too, share a love / hate relationship with frogs, since we have a pool. And they love to swim, and crap all over my pool steps! 🤬 But, they do eat the damn mosquitos!
The frogs have learned to litterly encircle the black light, from our backyard bug zapper! 🪰 When the bugs fly in, they feast! 🐸 So, it helps keep them out of the pool.
FYI frogs will chase a laser dot, and try to eat it. 😂
A pellet gun, may be a cheaper frog gun, but probably not as quiet, as your choice!
Buy a pellet gun it’s quiet
