Not available in UK how did you get it when I tried to order it the postage was £7,000.00 the reason when I questioned this was as follows: Due to changes in shipping methods we can now ship to UK from our warehouse in China. However, HF-008 antenna is too long and is restricted by the carrier, so we cannot ship it from the Chinese warehouse to UK and we set the expensive shipping fee as a restriction. Amazing isn't it?

I did not have much luck with it and changing bands required you keeping an alan wrench swr meter and a lot of patience.

Seems like this is basically a hamstick with a tapped coil for band changes, much like the Outbacker antennas of yore. I imagine the tuning is very sensitive to differences in mounting methods and ground plane/radials.
I recently picked up a JNCRADIO MC-750 from Chelegance, if you want easy band changes, it's a great choice. Just slide the whip to the etched in markings for each band and you're there, I stopped even checking SWR as there is no need. 40m requires an additional thread-in coil, which is included. 10 meters might need some adjustment, depending on which section of the band you want to use. No 80 meters, but I seldom want to work portable on that band. Anyhow, I'm really happy with it.
