Regarding the ventilated seats, is this accomplished with a separate fan under/in the seat or did the engineers route the HVAC system to the seats? I ask because that would mean I could turn on the A/C and get cooled seats! But I'm skeptical they'd go to that much trouble...
I just bought a 2023 MDX w/ Tech FWD and the 3.5L V6. It gets 22 city and 27-28 highway regularly here in flat Texas where we live.
Bottom line, I don't think the 3.0L Turbo V6 with SH-AWD is worth the poor poor gas mileage. The Acura dealership let us take it over night and test drive it a full day, and 17 city and 21 highway with premium fuel just does not sound like a decent trade off. It is powerful and it is fun to drive, but that 3.5L V6 (which I have had three of those in Honda products now) is an absolutely incredible motor. For the amount of power it has it gets fantastic gas mileage. We are very happy we went with the model we did.
PS, We only paid $48,998 for our MDX. $73,000+ is insanity.
Maybe they've tuned the suspension to be reasonably comfortable in the softest setting, but I'd rather have some 18" wheels with 60 series tires for some good sidewall to absorb the giant potholes we have in our area about every 50 feet.

Just wish they would have hidden the back wiper. Would make for a much cleaner look. Still like it though.
I love my TLX S Type....I dont mind the track pad at all. If you want a drivers car, you want the screen as far back as possible. Having it close so that you can touch it makes it harder to see. What is disappointing about this vehicle is all the piano black on the interior. That stuff scratches so easily. There is less in my TLX, so i had it covered with PPF. I wish Acura would use carbon fiber given what these things cost!
I am in love with this car. I am so hesitant between this and the GX460. I have test driven both and def love the MDX a lot more, but my very analytical self keeps pointing me to the GX. Hard choice.
No The MDX Type S is the one I have this one with Blue interior its beautiful
So, bottom line, is there *any* difference between the '23 and '24 MY MDX Type S?
It seems all to be the same from the '22-'24...the only difference I noticed in the '24 is the phone border on the wireless charger under the arm rest
Hopefully they fix the transmission gear whining that they claim is normal on all 22 and 23 non turbo. Very annoying and sounds like tinnitus. Sorry for the owners of the first two years.

The trac pad sucks. MDX behind the times with no offering of a touch screen.
I think it comes out cheaper if you buy a base and add all the type s stuff on it because some of the stuff is junk and never going to use it
