BS! I'm a lifelong Chiefs fan. Chiefs' fans weren't complaining because the rule has been sudden death all of our lives. Chiefs' fans cried about the Dee Ford offsides call that gave Brady and the Patriots another down. Bill's fans and the rest of the NFL complained when the Chiefs beat the Bills and Josh Allen didn't get a chance. None of y'all complained when Mahomes didn't get a chance and neither did Chiefs fans. We complained about the Dee Ford call and the Kadarius Toney calls that snatched victory from defeat.

26:00 I totally disagree. They had timeouts available. They didn't use one because they knew they didn't have to. They probably got the play off quickly because they had momentum and didn't want the expiration of the quarter to give San Francisco a chance to catch their breath.
Exactly. Patrick explained this in one of his post game interviews. He also explained they didn’t want to switch sides of the field and they had time to get the play off before the end of the 1st OT quarter.

The Chiefs weren't "crying" about the OT rules, we were crying about the Dee Ford offsides and how bad our defense was that year. How Mahomes would've done the same thing if we got the ball, but our defense couldn't stop a high school team!
The Chiefs may have put in for a rule change after that season, but their fans weren't upset about the OT rule. Also, of course the Chiefs knew the rules, and we had to get the play off before the OT quarter was over because the play clock was a second or two ahead of the game clock. So either get the play off, use a timeout and slow down our rhythm, or get a delay of game penalty. If the Chiefs thought that the game ended after the first quarter of OT, then they would've used timeouts! Come on now...

Brady did not lead the league in touchdowns that year he had 28 which made him number six in TD. Furthermore, The defense on the first three title runs were top 5 in points allowed. In other words the defense wasn't allowing anybody to score in all three of the first championship runs. Not to compare pat to brady but most of brady game winning drives were caped of by a FG. The majority of all brady game winning drives included pass interference or holding calls that came on 3 and long. He didnt always drive down the field like the media, pundits, and patriot fans would like the world to belive. This is why if you look on youtube at most of his game winning drives the video become chippy and edited because on a large percent of those drives involved odd fouls and calls were called that helped get the pats down the field or closer to the end zone.
