Rants the problem with you and i also had the same problem until i changed my views is that you are comparing previous generation of footballers to the current footballers. We both remember the early to mid 2000's and even late 2000's where all the top top teams in europe were stacked. The champions league had a magical feel, now it doesn't because all the top teams in europe are shell of their former selves, there is a sharp decline in football when it comes to talent and it is obvious. However rather than trying to compare previous generation footballers to current generation, you should instead compare current generaiton footballers to their current peers and when you do that you wouldn't have a problem saying Bellingham is arguably the best player in the world currently. Or Haaland is a world class striker/Finisher. Do not compare these current players to previous generations because they just do not compare, the levels are different and you will never appreciate these current group of players when you do this.

@RantsNBants I believe Jude Bellingham is a top player, but definitely not on the same level as Modric and to compare him to Zidane isnt accurate, Zidane could control football matches at walking pace as can Modric. Having said that, I would swap Jude for McMayo or Bruno any day of the week. For England, I would play Jude with Maddison and have them both interchange positions fluidly. Maddison xould start deeper than Jude and pick the ball.of the back 4, however Southgate doesnt have the balls to do that and will pick Henderson instead playing in Saudi instead.

Denying that Jude Bellingham is the best player in the world right now is beyond just denial. Complete ignorance. I've been a Real Madrid fan since 98 when I was 7 years old and I've watched 90% of their games as a teenager and an adult.
Jude literally has his jersey retired at Birmingham as a KID! He's the 1st player since Cristiano to score in his first 4 Real Madrid games. He single-handedly beat Barcelona scoring 2 goals in his first El Clasico.
The dude is only 20 YEARS OLD and he's almost the sole reason we won all the games we won this season. 13 Liga goals in 15 games. 5 UCL goals this far. He's got skills, strength, composure and every single attribute a football fan would want for a CAM. This whole video is just ridiculous!
