I recently took a trip to Dubai and fell in love with the city's vibrant atmosphere and stunning scenery. This vlog brought back so many great memories and made me want to visit again soon. I bumped into to you guys * saw you guys from afar in Dubai and wished I said hello last year :( Watching you guys grow is so inspirational... creating a business that you love in a city that you love is the ultimate goal. Life in Dubai is very expensive. This city is designed for wealthy people only.
I agree with Ana it’s bloody expensive in Dubai. It’s gonna be super expensive to stay there and do adventures let alone have cheesecake and bloody hot super hot in August. But you could always wear what the locals do Matt.. 😜
Good, how we want it. Don’t want to ruin it like we have done the UK. Keep it expensive and strict, keep the criminals out.
You can actually live in Dubai very affordably, but it wouldn’t look anything like this video
@@JamesWynnReal LOL White collar crime is rampant in the UAE, you know the scams and stuff. On the other hand, the authorities do have a grip on the overall safety of residents.
The downsides are way too many shady companies with nebulous intentions are setting shop in Dubai and traffic is becoming very third-worldish ( driving habits + influx of expats). I wouldn't call paradise by a long shot, Portugal and Spain are much better options in my opinion.
They spent billions of dollars to build this city so why shouldn’t it be expensive?

quick question i went to dubai in 2018 and LOVEEED it but I was 14 so didn't really look into the rules. is it true you cannot hold hands in public because public affection is considered very inappropriate?

Cheesecake Factory is the place for cheesecake, they also have a restaurant which I've heard is also pretty good. He's the thing though, when I was last in Dubai I'd just buy serveral different flavours (slices)...It never occured to me to buy a whole one 🤔...actually how much did it cost?

If you have a business in UK but live in Dubai…do you need to pay taxes?
If they are not tax resident in the UK, they would still pay tax on the profit their company makes in the UK. They would not have to pay tax on their overseas income.
