Got a recommendation for xdefiant. Try setting acceleration to 0. And upping your sensitivity, and lowering the ads. It feels way more snappy this way. Same type of feel, just no acceleration so it feels nice and snappy.
What’s the difference between dynamic and standard my English isn’t the best I’ve never understood it
So, in order to figure out the sensitivity ratio equation for Cod to Xdefiant, I recorded myself doing a full spin on call of duty on a 5 sensitivity. Then, I loaded up Xdefiant and recorded myself spinning at a 50 horizontal sensitivity. After comparing both values, I determined that I have no idea what I'm talking about.

I was having a really hard time with the Acceleration metric. I dropped it to 0 as per Mark Rubin's advice and upped my sensitivity to about 60. It's about perfect now.

W blame truth the goat lol but If you have acceleration on turn it to max and use under 50 sense if you don't max it or turn it to 0 it's weird it's like it creates a deadzone where you can't move the aimer

I was struggling a little until I offset my horizontal and vertical sensitivities. 40 horizontal - 30 vertical - and .50 ADS Multiplier, with aim accelerator at 0. I used a low sensitivity in COD 5, 5 with .80. Feels closer to my COD settings using the aforementioned XDefiant settings.

The problem with the bunny hopping in the game is that it ruins the hit reg in the game which is already not that good. If the hit reg. Worked properly, the hopping would be no problem at all

@@JohnsBond007brother you nailed it. I seen on Twitter (from China) where a guy camped in a corner and spam amped non stop with a shotgun and couldn't get killed until he was hit with a grenade. People know there is an exploit in the spam the bunny hop and less hits register that's why it's being done. If the hit registration works I would not care about the bunny hopping as you state.
The biggest thing that helped me was putting the response curve to linear. It helps build muscle memory.
Nero have you ever tried the max turn acceleration?
It allows you to have slow fine tune turning and when trying to turn fast, you have the ability to spin around faster

Then i tuned it a little and now it's working wonders for me

@@SpectorEuro4 you assume to much. I do play for fun. I’m not a sweat or ego gamer. It’s just to sweaty and try hard in my lobbies. I’m a good player. High score per minute and very good at map awareness. So my lobbies are at the top 10 percentile of skill. It’s rough.
Try not to assume to much about others.

Got a recommendation for xdefiant. Try setting acceleration to 0. And upping your sensitivity, and lowering the ads and high zoom multiplier to like 50%. It feels way more snappy this way. Same type of feel, just no acceleration so it feels nice and snappy. I was playing on 35/35 with accel and all things at 1.0x. I changed it to i think 70 or 80, somewhere around there, and set the ads stuff to 50%, while acceleration to 0. Feels very responsive and gets rid of that laggy feeling the game has.
Give it a try! Worst that could happen is you dont like it, and change it back.
One thing I’d like to comment with in this game is that when you strafe one direction and move your stick the other direction of your strafe, you have absolutely no recoil

The shooting range is leaps and bounds better than COD. It’s crazy how little effort they put into MW3
Anyone on console able to enable 120hz mode in the settings? My console is on 1440 @120hz but in the game its locked still and can't toggle on?
Yup, your monitor/TV needs to be able to accept 120hz. Otherwise the in-game option is locked.

I play on 25/25 too and despite it being low I've had no problems going crazy with movement. Being able to hit your shots is king.

I like that there is no cool-down time for skills in the firing range so you can spam them and get familiar with them a lot quicker than you would if from just using them in-game. And you can change factions while in the firing range so you can try out all their skills on the targets, see what distances they are effective at and stuff. There's supposed to be an area specifically for skills but it isn't in the game yet, but being able to activate skills non-stop at the firing range is really helpful at getting familiar with them. What is the range of the incinerator drone? Can you jump with the shield? How long does the fuel tank last on the flamethrower? Stuff like this can be tested while in the firing range 😀
I noticed in your last video that your sensitivity was pretty low. I did the same and instantly had better results!
so after extensive research on the matter at hand and over 18 years of cod/ 1 person shooters i realized im still dying to people jumping

Been playing with no aim assist, on pc, and doing pretty well. Also just jumped into the game yesterday so.. Not much play time yet.

Game would actually be alot better if they fixed these hit detection issues and connection issues I light people up and barely do any damage I’m already getting tired of playing it cause no matter what all I get are hit markers or getting killed around corners
Changing your horizontal sensitivity MIGHT ACTUALLY help. Worked for me.
ADS multiplier is for people to get comfortable with their sensitivity across magnifications. For example, maybe you want more or less sensitivity when you ADS. What you want is to change your ADS multiplier. There are also two of them for low and high magnifications just in case you want it different for different magnifications of sights.
Note: ADS multiplier does not give you the same sensitivity after changing your horizontal and/or vertical sensitivities as the multiplier multiplies itself with your current sensitivities to change your sensitivity when ADS.

I have a my bullets do no damage so I end up dying despite hitting over 10 shots.
The hit reg is crazy.
That's exactly my problem. That's the only reason why i can't enjoy the game tbh. I'm getting killed before i can even get shots off as if the opponent is seeing me before i see them. I can't even take a shot then duck behind cover because I'm dying BEHIND COVER

Aim Assist Strength/Follow - Sometimes you can experience jarring push pull feeling if its set to default. If you like control over that then lower it (ie -2). If you prefer no acceleration when turning ( can also cause jarring push pull feel) then turn acceleration speed to 0x and adjust Hortizontal and Vertical sensitivity (i.e. HZ 40 V 25). Vertical should be lower than HZ. You can lower ADS speed if you feel like sometimes you overshoot a target.
why do you think some of our settings have different names for them? i mean yours is called ads sensitivity multiplier and mines controller aim look sensitivity factor.
I swear the second i shoot the aim just flys to across the screen every time idk why. Never happened to me in battlefield or cod.
I play on 35-35 1.0x multiplyer 1.35 acceleration but i set my aim assist to -2. The default AA feels too sticky and makes pulling away or fine adjustments difficult.
Nice tips here. I feel like I have to relearn fps games since stopping playing cod years ago. I never considered using the left stick to mitigate recoil.
Recoil smoothing, super useful in Apex Legends too.
There’s no such thing as the best setting. It all depends what you like. Figure it out by yourself.

OFFICIALLY ran into my first hacker in xdefiant 🤦🏾. Dude was running the invisible class. So long as he didn’t die he would remain invisible until someone killed him. Granted his team still lost it was hella annoying

What does the Aim Acceleration actually do? I know what it says, but how is it actually effecting the game.
Took me like 3 hrs to find a safe area to play, and the p90 might be my go to
There is something in the vertical sensitivity not being scaled like it is in other games so you have to manually set it lower to get a 1:1 feel rather than setting them the same for hor and ver.

my sens: 70 ,, 60 with both multipliers on .80. regular sens don’t matter for aiming
off subject, one thing ive notice is there s been a bit of lag spike. also while shooting with the controtller, the vibration cuts out half through it
Good base to go by but sensitivity settings is a personal thing not for everyone, so guy's keep that in mind and don't come here bashing Nero for it.
Honestly if you come from apex legends or Fortnite. (Literally anything but COD tbh) Linear feels great in this game. The sense I found feels very similar to how I play in apex on 4-3 Linesr
I'm having the worst experience with this game right now with the horrible netcode and desycing. Getting shot around corners, dying as soon as I come around a corner, bullets not registering, I get hitmarkers little to no damage is done. I yet to have a fair game but I still manage to go positive almost every game until I literally can't even challenge anyone.

How is it possible that without sbmm every body are jumping sweats. Even every low level below level 5 does this. I don't believe it's complete without sbmm. Why is there an account level that goes up and down?

I play 44/32 the look speed is a bit slow but my aim is excellent with no acceleration.
The aim feels weird because your weapon doesn't return to the original aim point if you control recoil while firing. If you fire and don't control recoil, the weapon will return to the original aim point. If you move your aim at all while you're firing, the weapon will just stop and stay at the last location and not go back to the original aim point.

@iTzIronPedro I personally use Linear, 30/30, 0.85 ADS, 3 deadzones, 110 fov and I bump up my Acceleration Speed Multiplier to 2.00 and it feels pretty good.
Edit: 0.75 feels better
I play 18 18 on cod, i played on 100 100 on xdefiant and it still feels to slow to me
For me it’s been 40 40 linear w .80 ADS sens. But this is one gm where it’s def different for everybody

I think more than anything ppl are just having a hard time properly aiming in this game. Once they figure it out they'll be just fine. Games amazing btw. Im having a blast and my AK47 is almost Bronze.

Until hit reg/server issues are resolved, I don’t anyone will know what ‘best settings’ are. I’ve uninstalled, but my last few games were coin flips basically. May as well have had SBMM back considering how little control of my game I actually had.

Your riding this game hard but i cant stand it.
1. ABILITIES: The operator abilities are some of the most annoying toxic things in gaming, I just want to run around and casually shoot at players but people pop walls, go invisible, and can get an invincible amount of healing. Like for real idk whos idea it was to allow players to quickly deploy shields in front of themselves and teammates that take multiple clips to go through, it gets so annoying that i wish every single enemy had ballistic vests on every single life, and i had to play with that being my only disadvantage.
2. NO KILLCAMS: I'm super down for no skill based matchmaking but when you get decked by another dude i dont want it to stare at my body i want to see the killcam so i can see what he did, what i did from his pov, and how i can improve
3. MAP DESIGN: Small maps with big power positions that have really long lines of sight. Can feel like you constantly have to take the same gunfight over and over and the enemies naturally pile up on each other giving a lot of fights a random X vs X factor
4: CLUNKINESS: Just doesnt feel as good to play as recent releases like the finals, or like COD. Doesnt fundamentally compare with the fluidity of r6 either. Idk why but it feels like this game more then any other it takes forever to find your 'perfect sense' along with animations feeling slightly off
I heavily disagree with a lot of what you said, I think players should mess around until they find what’s right, my game felt like ass despite me still slamming until I found what I’m on now

As for the aim assist settings, -2 follow feels way better than 0 to me, aim assist in this game is so strong that it’s detrimental

Yes, because it’s a crappy net code, with crappy servers, made by crappy devs that somehow made the game feel worse after taking 9 months off.
The aim assist in this game feels so weird. It increases the more you move your right joystick. Going from cod to xdefiant feels so weird it’s like the aim assist in xdefiant is both weaker and stronger at the same time
Shotguns suck the aa12 gets so many hitmarkers
