I think this is my favorite scene in the whole series. Midge has a panic attack on stage and she manages to make it funny.
These 3 Catskills episodes where the best episodes of the show.
"I will be here all week trying to find out if I just had a stroke."
-Midge Maisel
dad: looks serious says "I'm taking you home"... dramatically puts on straw sombrero...
me: lmao!!!
"You've said all of that shit in front of your father" hahahaha I love this show
The moment she realized that her dad was in the audience, was the moment she had yet another nervous break down! Go figure! Lol
I love this so much!!! I don't know what's better: Midge's panic, her dad's expression or Susie's shock!!! I love this show!!!!!
She panicked and gave one of her best sets
1:45 that moment when every fan of the show yelled "Oh SHIT!"
scrolled down the comments looking for just this
Really, a season and a half of build up for this exact moment,,, and they delivered!!
I know I did lol
I kid you not, when I first saw this scene; I was sitting with my mom watching it and I was sipping on a glass of wine and the second her dad came on screen I did a fucking spit take. Seriously.
"Somebody gave up something to somebody at some point"
I wonder if the audience would have found it funnier of they knew her father was right there.
Too many men can’t appreciate the brilliance of a woman. Her father couldn’t. He could only muster shame and selfish embarrassment. Sad that this is true to life.
He comes around a little though
Tbh, considering his character in the show he would felt the same way if it were his son.
@@gfoot9916 even he felt shame when he found out his son’s career
The final season was cathartic for that
final season rly gave him the character development he needed, i mean its like the writers read ur comment
Its likes she’s trying to explain to her father but she’s doing her act at the same time
1:43 “he was my…Papa”
What?
I wonder what she was actually going to say
Acting coach 😎
This woman invented sarcasm 😊
I stopped breathing during this scene. like literally
U OK? Should we call for an ambulance?
Oh right, it was 3 month ago. Guess it´s too late now.
this caught us totally of guard hahahaha
Nah, I saw it coming the moment she stepped onstage
@@vishaansingh1019 OH SO YOU THINK YOU'RE BETTER THAN ME?
@@jimineedles Lol. Nah I was just like "You see dad driving away from the resort at night, she's off the resort at night, they're gonna be in the same place."
@@vishaansingh1019you completely missed the joke Ms moishe
knew it was coming when he mentioned his comedic socks with martinis
The best casting this show
The Catskills arc was the best arc in television history
this was her BEST set sadly 😂
Watched this episode for the first time last night. I knew something like this was coming!
“Are we in trouble?”
*nods*
I am taking you Home. Puts the hat on. Lost it
The Monk in the flesh
I Love This series, It reminds me so much of being home.
I think in season 5 they should have shown a flashback of this scene from Abe POV
I'm taking you home......
Soooo awkward
Awesome!!!
So great!!
“Tweed.”
